Review of the college in north east

The course curriculum is very much great .The curriculum has subjects whose importance are increasing gradually like semiconductors and so are very helpful in real world applications.the exams takes place twice a semester and difficulty ranging from easy to medium.the teaching method of some subjects nay be changed from slides to blackboard

Companies offering internships are JP Morgan,info edge , microsoft, amazon,google etc they get roles like software developer, consulting intern,and also get research internships stipend vary from company to company on an average u can get a stipend from 35000 to 65000 per month.for projects u can do a project under any professor u like people do projects in ai/ml , communication like audio processing and problem solving

The students from 5th semester are eligible for Internship programs by the college they can get off campus internship before also for placement after 6th semester the students are eligible . Companies that visited are accenture,gamecroft, microsoft,info edge etc 200+ offers were made and the highest package being 70+ lpa while the average package for cse being 15-16 lpa and for ece it was 12-13 lpa above 85 percent of students got placed and some started their own startups and few went for higher studies .after getting degree I plan to work in corporate for a few years then open my own something

The yearly fees is 250000 for tution fees and 27000 for hostel fees and 16000 for mess fees apart from these there are no development or admission or kab fees .The fees of all my batchmates are same.yes there are a few scholarships available from Government side and government also provided financial aids to some people

The campus life is decent enough we got a cultural fest 'Yuvaan' in March and a technical fest 'entropy' taking place in month of October in which students showcase their talents and take their hobbies to next level yes there is availability of books and journals in the academic library.tgere Is a sports club which organise both indoor and outdoor games tornament it includes games like cricket football chess table tennis etc .yes there are many social run clubs by students like photography, writing singing and acting and dancing clubs these clubs empowers a students hobby and bring out their talents in various social things

2 stundents have to share a hostel room it has 2 beds 2 cupboards and attached washroom and a desk and chair for each one in the room . I haven't rented a pg but there are some very close to campus like 5-6 km or may be less the mean quality is average and the menu is different everyday(dal rice and chapati and a sweet dish is always there) apart from that we get chicken twice a week and eggs thrice a week and also in breakfast u get boiled egg and fruits everyday .there are food item from both north and south regions like dosa uttpam and aloo paratha

This college has a good curriculum and also great for going to research side I preferred this over the others I applied because the others had no permanent campus and were very far from home moreover some do not have good research programs .I preferred this college over IIIT pune IIIT kota and vit which gave me a confirmed admission.i got rejected from a few colleges like mnit allahabad IIIT lucknow and IIIT Allahabad because I did not reach its cut off ranks .the admission process is quite simple in my college it is done through jossa councelling of jee .u can get admission through jee mains it is the most preferred exam by the students and for cse branch u have to get above 20000 rank and for ece above 430000 this is for general male

There are 2 main exams every semester the mid sem and end sem along with them quizzes also take place during the semesters .the difficulty of the exams are from medium to Hard most of the students are able to clear the exams even if u just focus in the class and just revise after the classes it would be enough Dr Mansoor Khan of ece department is one of the best faculty according to me he makes us learn the depth of the subjects and not just focus on theory Dr Rajib malik kd not liked by me mostly because he uses too much of slides and bkt make us too practice questions

My personal favourite hangout place is the top of academic canteen and in night may be a friend's hostel room students unwind after a day of classes by relaxing in their rooms or playing sports like football and volleyball there is availability of gym so some go there .if you have to leave campus after 9:30 on u have to take prior permission from the warden (unless it's an emergency) for which u have to inform the warden as soon as possible the locality is safe to roam around in night I myself have done a night out once and there are a few beautiful waterfalls in the mountains near the campus and small treks where u can go with friends and get the view of the beautiful sunrise
