Course Curriculum Overview

I decided to choose this course because of well placement in this sector and very high scope in the future because electronics use is increasing day by day.But the course syllabus must be reduced and need to be simplified

Class Size: 69Course Fees: INR 54000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I will be paying 54000 every year for college fees for 2 semester. At the end there are 8 semester around 216000 needed to be paid for college fees only.After all there are many other fees like exam fees, scholarship fees etc..

Campus Life

Overall experience is good because of my friends I had made here and the college functions are very good inspite of the infrastructures around here.Campus life is overall good by environmental premises.

Admission

I applied for many other colleges,this college was my almost last option due to small area of the campus.The admission process was through the keam exam results and based on my 12 marks which I got very high mark.

Faculty

All the faculties are very nice when we have a doubt they will try there best to clear it.Exam are not so tough but in a medium manner when we studied it will be easy to pass.Smrithy miss very nice class she is taking maths in a good manner.

Interview Experience

I got the admission in my through keam exam and my 12 score. My keam score was average but my 12 score was very high so that I got an rank btw 20k and got admission with a fees of 54000 per year which was very small compared to other colleges

Night Life

No gym facilities in my college.Library area is quite good.There is not timing in our hostel but for girls it's around 7pm.Our college premises are safe to roam around at night no need to fear about thief.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
