Remarks

According to me, life at DCAC is something one can live to the fullest. The crowd of the College is the best among all the colleges in DU. Infrastructure can be a lot better than it is right now. Staff is nice and quite helpful. I will never forget my days at DCAC and yes the famous MINI MARKET.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I think its the best from the best. Our College offers a variety of courses in every field. Some of them includes B.Com (Programme), B.Com (Hons), BA (Hons) Economics and many more. The Journalism Programme offered by DCAC is the one of the best courses offered to the students at a national level.

Internships Opportunities

Our college offers many internship opportunities to its students and ex-students as well. Every year an internship fair is organised by our college where companies like EY, KPMG, etc come and hire the best ones for them. I didn't apply in any of them since my goals are different from all this. If I talk about the stipend, the average stipend offered by any company is between 8k-10k. Moreover it totally depends upon the student whom they are hiring.

Placement Experience

4.5

The Placements offered by the college is what the college is known for. The Placement Cell (Broadway) is the most active society wing of the college. They put in a lot of efforts such that each and every student gets a job he/she has ever dreamt of. The average package offered to any student lies between 3-4 Lacs.

College Events

5

There are various events which are celebrated in the college. All the societies celebrate their events with full enthusiasm. The College's annual fest (Ambrosia) is the heart of the college and it is celebrated like its the last event of the college. Various celebrities come to the college every year to attend this fest and enjoy with students in every way they can.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The Fee structure of the college is feasible in my eyes. Since it's a Central University, the fees is very nominal and varies between 7k-10k a year. College fees is paid online on the college website.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know anything about it. If something like this is offered by our college, then one can check on the College Website www.dcac.du.ac.in. The fee is very nominal and I find it difficult if the college provides such facilities.

Campus Life

3

The College Library is the best place where one can actually be in our college. The sports activities are somehow great in our college. The Cricket Team, the basketball team are the ones who always be the talk of the college.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

There are no hostels available in the college. The college comprises of 2 buildings, the Old Building and the New Building. The infrastructure of the college is poor. Since it is such a good college and located at a posh location, the infrastructure should be excellent.

Alumni/Alumna

The Senior Students are helpful in any way they could. The Alumni network of the college is very strong. Various personalities and celebrities are a part of this enormous institution. Gursimran Khamba, Gaurav Rathore and many more have been in this college in their times.

Exam Structure

All colleges in the Delhi University follows the exam structure given by the University itself. There are strict norms and all the students follow all the rules and regulations given by the College. There is a protocol which is respected by the students as well as the teachers.

Admission

21st August, My sister's Roka Ceremony function and everybody was enjoying and dancing and I was in the train going for my admission and trust me, I was in formals. When I reached there, it was such a chaos but somehow I entered the admission office. I found it very difficult in the first as the admission was on a first cum first basis. When everything was approved and I was told to pay the fee online then I felt relaxed and excited at the same time.

Faculty

4

The Faculty of this college is very helpful and kind towards students. It has a staff of more than 70 teachers and everyone is strictly professional when it comes to their work. There are doubt sessions specially arranged for students if they need it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
