Course Curriculum Overview

I rate the curriculum three out of five . Because students have to study six month course in Three to four. months It's very bad any way it's a good college . The programs are good also .

The Students are eligible for college placements After semester 6 There are so many companies to offer placements to students many Tata , Wipro , etc It's great to study in this college.

The yearly course fee for my course is 65000 and Iam a merit full fee ( management) student There are lot of scholarships that can be applied Tuition fee - 65000 Caution fee - 5000 For merit , Tuition fee - 40000 Caution fee -5000

Campus Life

There are so many books available in the collage of engineering. Thalassery all type of books are available in the college libraries The college has a good sports experience

Admission

I applied many for this college because the college of engineering Thalassery is near to my house . So personally took This College Also I didn't get an allotment on government. college of engineering Kannur

Faculty

The faculties are very good at teaching . And all the faculties are very helpful and always ready for Doubts clearance. There are two series exams in a semester and assignments class tests that help us in sem exams.

Night Life

There so many hotels and cafe s near college and also Thalassery is good spot to explore . And college can has so many to explore most importantly civil blocks back side

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
