Untold feelings for my college

About the course some of the ....no all the courses provided in the curriculum are very much relevant except a few..... but the content in those courses are not at all relevant. Or it is like they are just teaching us the basics but the industry demands practicality of those basics.

Placement is pretty much good. If you are a CS student, then you have plenty of opportunities to secure a job from various esteemed companies. As far as a other branches are concerned thay have limited number of opportunities.

We pay our fees for the semester. In odd semester it is around 57K and in even semester it is around 28K. This includes everything including exam fees. Some of my batchmates in merit who got keam rank less than 10k have a little concession in the fees. Also many have applied for the scholarships and get their fees covered. Some others who got admission through management quota have fees more than 1lakh per year.

Being an ambivert person it took me quite a time to get used to the culture and the people here. Also being an under confident person it took me time to overcome and utilise the facilities in the college.

Hostel facilities are just average. Rooms are not too small but not big enough for 3people and the cupboards are less spacious or have less compartments. Food and water available is not quite good and the college has been shut twice due to food poisoning after me getting admitted to this college. So we could say hostel life is quite miserable.

This college had better facilities compared to other private colleges in this area. They have much leisure rules regarding hostel and better facilities compared to other colleges. Placement options are better eventhough it is for CS but all branches or mostly circuit branches are welcome in their placement procedures.

Faculty members are of all types; both loved by students and hated by students. There are some who we could not trust with the portions to be completed and there are some who work hard to complete portions and provide us revisions. First sem had 5 subjects and 2nd sem had 6 subjects. Form 3rd onward we had 3 core papers, 1 lesser credit paper and 1 creditless paper. We have inter nal exam in every month and then a final university exam.

Nightlife cannot be experienced if you are in ladies hostel, but you can have one if you take part in some events or in its preparation. As such there is nothing special about it, i find, its just that you can spend more time with your friends and the surroundings will be very calm compared to chaotic buzzes during day.
