Charting My Path: A Candid Review of My College

Course curriculum is ok but in ktu we are studying the syllabus which was prepared about 10 years go , the scheme is changing in every 5 years, for example if we take the case of a microcontroller we are studying in this semester is intel 8051 , which was a microntroller which was developed 10 years ago and now we are studying about this microcontroller and there is no use in studying these kind of this , but it serve as a basic root for our knowledge The curriculum concentrate on developing our theoretical knowledge as well as practical knowledge but practical knowledge is little bit low but it's fine due to limitations is overall studying and teaching practices in India While comming in to timming and frequency of exams it's fine in odd semester but when it comes to an odd semester it's little bit congested with all the other programs

While talking about the internship opportunities our college arrange internships for all our students irrespective of their marks and other things . The companies like Infosys, South Indian Bank, IBM, Siemens, TCS as provided internship for our students and with a good stipend and we have initiated many products and which increases the technical knowledge of the students and we our professors and facultes are so good and they provide other sense and clarify our doubt . And our college provide good placements for students those who have a good knowledge and the academic backgrounds with a decent salary And we have many startup ideas from our college have and one start up from more college has get an investment of 10 million dollars old Sara biotech which is an biotechnology based company which develops biscuits and other things from algae which is rich in protein and other nutritious values , it was charter Idea and a final year project which was developed by a former student and now its becoming a good start up company from our college .

Detailed fee structure for btech 4 years course is 85000 annually, which sum up to 340000 and a caution deposit of 10,000 and in an additional exam registration fees of around 3000 ( varies according to semester) . SC ST students have fee concessions and there are many scholarships and financial aids for financially backward students, fees is same for both management and merit students

While talking about the overall experience of my college it's okay okay because I have engaged in many other clubs like technical club ,IEES , IEDC and we have conducted many other programs flash ship events like altier 2.0 and many other events technical as well as social ,monthly quizes some annuall meets and we can access many other books from our central library both online and offline In our Google development programs and careless first intel AI LAB and our educational minister have inaugurated this lab, in our classroom we have smart board and 24*7 high speed internet facilities and an app named ET lab for looking or accessing about our internal marks attendance and other things And I am a Part and volunteer of NSS that is national service scheme and we use to conduct money social programs like we have buit a home for a homeless person and we have inaugurated this home by our education minister she came and laid the foundation stone for this home, which i feel a major milestone in my social life.

At the time of admission the main thing I was concentrated while choosing my college while comparing about the other colleges was the ease of access I can reach my college within 15 minutes of time , I got confirmed admission in Christ college of engineering , MA college of engineering and many other colleges and the main thing which I was attracted is the infrastructure of my college Yes I do get rejections from some colleges due to limited seats and increased competition for the courses Admission process is first we need to write kerala engineering entrance test (keam) and we should pass in that exam the marks know scored and marks scores in plus two is taken into consideration with equal weightage for getting admission in to the college after publishing the allotment there are around 4 allotments and we will be allotted in a college according to our marks and we can prefer our college this according to our wish if we get the college we can take admission in the college by paying the fees in the college the college fees may vary according to several conditions reservation categories and management of the college

Faculties are good and all facilities have good educational background and we have facility advisors for every 15 students each, whom we can share all over things and they use to call me personally and can share our thoughts, most of the facilities are good and friendly and they are taking care in our area's and they are asking personal feedback and used to take surveys about their performances and they ask what should we need to improve for their side inorder to increase the overall performance of students as well as the college in terms of academics and other areas While going to exams we have 3 main examination in an semester 2 countinous assessment test and 1 university exam along with that we have lab exams and internal examinations and assignment tests faill ratio for exams is nearly 10 percentage or less and the circulam for exams is ok , not easy not hard it's ok ok.

While talking about the night life it's very very poor why because our hostels close at 6:00 p.m. and the after closing we cant go to our campus and can't roam in the campus but cafeteria and all other infrastructure are good because we have around three to four cafeteria and the two snacks bars which we have get good of food . We also have a gym facilities libraries and many hostels for boys and girls and the our college is situated not in a city but it's around 3 km from nearby City called kodakara, while while talking about the good hangout places in the college and I college and greenery campus over we have many for us like sports and their for engaging and hanging out with your friends and the locality so good and safe to hang around and we have many other good places like mountains for getting sunset and sunrise view and many paddy fields which provides a good ambience and their relaxing mode for hanging out with friends So nice like is it's not our cup of tea .
