- College campus are big, and there is a restaurant of college for eating and departmental stores for all stuffs
- Provide labs in all type of departments.
- good tech fest and cultural fest, with lots of fun games.
Dislikes
- Wheather is too hot during summer which I feel not good
- attendance createria of 75% is not good.
- Some time faculty are start talking in Bengali languages whih we don't understand easly.
Course Curriculum Overview
Some aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course is my curiosity towards tech. For further higher studies the curriculum is okay. But for a better job you have to prepare yourself. I think the old system and syllabous should get a chances to renew according to the present system and technologies. The exam level is medium not hard.
Placement Experience
The placements of of the college is okay okay , it's is 4 -5 LPA, but in previous year the placements percentage is not much good than the more previous year , if you not get placements then you can apply for off campus. But if you gained all skills according to requirments of the company's then you get easly placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
KoThe year wise fee I paid is 68,250 in even semester and 71,250 in odd semester, but during admission you have to pay more fee at admission time the total fee you have to pay is 93,950. And these details fee structure are not including hostel fees , and rather than this the hostel fees is 12,000 per semester. Library fees: 1500 per year. University development fees : 2200. Sports and students welfare fees : 1k And all these fees comes under the total sem. Fees that I have mentioned.
Campus Life
Our campus is more bigger than the other colleges in West bengal , the campus life is more good. Ya, here is you can enjoy the tech fest which is biggest fest in W.B , and a cultural fest is also there in which you can also enjoy. Annual sports and extracurricular activities also offered in campus. And there are many Social group's, Clubs , society in HIT like you get singing club , chess club , dance club, and many tech clubs also like ISTE, IEEE, IETE , CSI DSCH and many more.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are okay, you got the room where 4 students get one room. The food is not that much good , But here is a tip if you choose ranichak hostel you got the better food other than other hostels.
Admission
Ofcourse,I have applied for better colleges than the HIT , but I got this college which is also not bad , but it is situated in haldia which is a side area , which is undeveloped that much. For applying in any colleges you have to comes under the cutoffs , and accordingly that you get the college but you have money to pay then you can choose the college by your choices and take admission through direct admission cotta. But don't comes unde influence of dealer as they scammed you in most of the cases. My admission experience is okay
Faculty
The students ratios are bigger , the faculties approach are good , but sometimes they speak in Bengali which is not understoodable.But they are helpful in all aspects. There are semester exams and in each semester exam there you have to give 2 class test exam , the semester exams are medium mode. The course curriculum in 1st year are same as you see in another eng. Colleges.
Night Life
The night view is so good in campus , the lights at the door and the four pillar of the college, the environment and the colleges are full of flowers pots . Ya you also hot a gym area in campus, many hostel also fir both boys and girls (and a tip for boys choose always RANICHAK HOSTEL you will find it why I am telling it).
