Remarks
college is pretty good for education and getting jobs.But you would miss your engg life you dreamt of.Its like a school where you have to come on time and discipline is very high here.College is surrounded by lots of companies so placement is not a issue.
Course Curriculum Overview
Well earlier it followed the old syllabus but now it's updated as per industrial demands.You get to learn all the basic and also technical knowledge.University is very helpful and gives out all imp updates like exam date week earlier
Internships Opportunities
No the college didn't provide us internship but yeah it provided us with training letters.I did my training in Indian Railways.College takes out for industrial expoi trip from time to time.Also Industrial experts keep conducting seminars
Placement Experience
It's pretty good.Lot of IT companies come from placement and almost all are placed.The average package this year was 4lpa and highest was 32lpa.Tcs and CYS being major recruiters.For CS,IT,ECE lots of companies come
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is pretty feasible.Its always about 40000per semester.In this fee structure you have access to library facilities and all other things.In the initial phase we have to pay 20000 as deposit which is returned after course is over
Fees and Financial Aid
Well no such scholarip are available in the college until you are from very poor background and that too after talking to management you can avail it.So no such scholarip are available.And as I said college fee is feasible so hardly very few have problem in paying
Campus Life
Well we have sports game as well as sports teacher.In 1st semester you get to learn yoga and jarate as well.Marathons are also organized in a year Sports day also take placeWe also have basketball grounds
Hostel Facilities
Well IEM hostel is not good.So generally very few students stay there.Generally students take a PG or flat as it is cheap.Iem has particularly no hostel of its own and it doesn't take ant responsibility for it.
Alumni/Alumna
Well no such network.College hardly focusses to organize alumnus meets and all.So no such interaction happens and alumnis are not in contact with juniors.This is the reason why big company don't turn to our college.
Exam Structure
Well we have 8 sems.Every sem has 5-6 subjects.30 marks is given from internal exam and rest 70 marks comes from University exam.Questions come mostly from past year question papers.If u study hard getting 9 cgpa is not a difficult task.
Admission
Well I gave my wbut exam then as per the rank I got a college.Then after 3 rounds of counselling I was finally allotted a branch in the respective college.I paid 20k as security money and sem fee and took the admission
Faculty
The faculties here are the best.We have mostly all the faculties from IITs and too ENGINEERING colleges.Many have written research papers.All are very friendly.They help u in every problem and are very cooperative
