Remarks

Very poor management and poor administration as well in other words corruption is at it's best in this university, i would never suggest to take admission in this university, fee is very high facilities are very poor.

Entrance Preview

AIEEE 2012, i scored 148/360 standing at 45070th rank, ME is most demanding branch in industries that's why i choose this and i choose this college because i like this locality and also because it is far from my hometown.

Course Curriculum Overview

0.5

Course is pretty good but faculty is very poor, no body likes to help students, specially honesty is of no use in this university, if you are honest your the biggest fool in this campus.

Internships Opportunities

Internship was not a paid one but that which we gained is precious, engine testing was interesting to work on and i personally feels that i made good decision to choose this subject as my internship.

Placement Experience

0.5

Very poor in clear words, no company of core mechanical visit this college.

College Events

4.5

In this sense it's a rich college, list of the events are as follows, Concordance (welcome festival for the freshers), Titiksha (Tech festival of college), Resurgence (Cultural and sports festival of college), Convocation.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Hostels are fine but facilities are very poor, here is a rating, Infrastructure 4.5/5, Electricity and internet 4/5, Cleaning and sanitation 4/5, Mess 2/5 very poor quality of food Fee is very very high, approx 2 lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes merit cum scholarship is available in which top students of each branch are given scholarship but policy is very poor.

Campus Life

2.5

Campus life is very joyful and further it depends on your friend circle, gender ratio is not fine in b.tech but it is very good in mba and other courses, diversity is pretty good as students from different parts of India study in this college, extracurricular opportunities are very good, labs are not good enough they have machines but most of them are in idle state, there is a basketball court a volleyball court and a football and cricket ground which makes it rich in sports, unfair competition but debates are organized by students time to time.

Alumni/Alumna

No Alumni wants to be in this college ever because they are not respected at all which makes Alumni network very poor, seniors are good and of helping nature.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quiet relevant it covers all the important subjects and topics.I chose the Ece branch as the demand of semiconductors is rising in the future. The curriculum perpares us well for real world applications. The course teaches us a lot of outdated concepts but it misses out to teach about what is happening in the world right now. So the course can involve a lot of topics that are in trend.

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like google microsoft facebook vedanta have visited and offered an average package of around 10 lpa. Highest package is of 45 lpa and lowest of 8 lpa. There is 100% placements of students from core branches. After i get my degree i want to work in a tech company and learn about technology.

Placement Experience:

Placemets start right from your 7th semester. Most comapnies that would come here would be like vedanta , ashok leyland etc etc who mainly do mass hiring, th no of offers are quite low as for durig my time most companies qul do diversity and hiring would only select girls and the girls were low in numbers as compared to the boys so each girl recieved atleast 2-3 offers while rarely a boy would even rev=cieve a single offer. The highest package was offered by Vedanta but it was 13 lpa in ct in hand it would be arond 5-6 lpa , the average package was also the same around 5-6 lakhs per annum. Percentage of students placed would be around 30 percent but they inflated the numbers heavily but showing only the students who were eleigible as boys were mostle ineligible. My plans are to look for masters somewhere abroad.
