Remarks
The major drawback is the college doesn't have a proper campus life. But the college is situated in posh area of Churchgate that is in front of Marine Drive. The teachers sometimes are not corporative.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college provides different types of courses like B.com, B.voc, B.sc, B.M.M, B.A.F, B.F.M, B.B.I., B.M.S, Masters degree as well like M.COM etc. There's no specialisation courses, but there courses cover everything.
Internships Opportunities
I had never applied for any kind of internships but some of my friends did as the college has E-Cell group which coordinates with all kind of internships things and provide all knowledge about the same.
Placement Experience
Many big companies like KPMG, Ernst and Young etc do visit our college and give students placements. I reckon last year the package went till the 7 lakhs per annum. The placement cell also make sure the students are well prepared for same.
College Events
Talash is one of the main college fest other than that there are many other fests like Jai Hind Advertising fest for advertising, Kani for art and cultural fest, Arthanomic for economic and business fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The positive things is the fee structure. For aided courses it's Rs 5000- 6000 per year and for unaided courses it's Rs 18000- 20000 per year. For reserved categories it's around rs 300- 700 per year only.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Summito scholarship is the one that I know. It is for the backward societies. The income of the family should be below 5 lakhs to avail the scholarship as they will not have to pay the fees. They can study for free.
Campus Life
The college provides a lot of extracurricular activities, labs, sports etc. The college gymkhana is super active and provide all types of sports and other competition informations. The college keep their students busy in some or the other extracurricular activities.
Hostel Facilities
The major drawback is the infrastructure. The college doesn't have it's own hostels and the campus is nothing just two big building and small basket ball ground. Infact no colleges of Mumbai University provides hostel facilities.
Alumni/Alumna
The college has number of alumni like Chanda Kochhar, Priyanka Chopra, Aishwarya Rai, John Abraham, Malaika Arora, Kajal Aggarwal, Sunil Dutt etc. Chanda Kochhar did came to our college as a guest lecturer.
Exam Structure
The exam structure is like semester wise, per year two semesters each. Internal exams are also there depending on the courses. Being an autonomous college it the paper comes little tough and it's not easy to score.
Admission
I got the admission in this college through my 12th standard's marks. The more the percentage the more will be the chances of getting the name in the first merit list. You will have to apply through official site of Mumbai University and also fill the college form as well.
Faculty
The faculties of the college is very helpful. The teacher give there 100% to make the students understand and clear all the doubts regarding any courses. They provide both theoretical as well as practical knowledge.
