Fees and Financial Aid
The semester fees for bachelor of technology for electrical enginering in nit srinagar is 73000 for general cateogary having income more than 5 lacks per annum. The fees for students having annual income less than 5 lacks is 31000 for each semester and for students having annual income less than 1 lack is 10,500 for each semester. National Institute of Technology Srinagar offers a vibrant campus life with a variety of social and extra curricular activities.The institute host numerous student Run clubs and Societies to cater range of interests including arts, culture and literature.Annual culture and Technical festival namely the Techvaganza is held every October of each year. The campus is equipped with essential facilities which support both Academic and extra curricular activities. There are 5 hostels,4 for boys and one for girls.The campus is equipped with a central wifi which covers all area.

I choose this college over any other college as it is very close to my house. It lies in my state and my home state quaota is applicable for this college.The campus of this college is very beautiful the placement rate of this college is very high and the level of education is very good. in all out to get an admission in this college we need to qualify JEE mains.
Faculty
The facualty members of the college are very helpful.The teachers are very intelligent and teach very goodly. The course of each subjects is divided into 4 units.Each semester 2 exams are conducted mid sems and end sems.Total 100 marks are for each subject,in which 50 marks are for end term examination.The other 50 are divided as: 26 mid term exams,8 marks for attendance, 8 marks for assignments and 8 marks for quiz.
Night Life
The National Institute of Technology Srinagar offers a campus life reach in extra curricular activity is there are many clubs running in the college and societies. Notable clubs include the Sargam club the official music and dance club.These Clubs often organise events and gathering during the evening,enchancing the social fabric of Campus life however the night life in an around the campus is relatively low as the city of Srinagar traditionally has Limited night life options with most establishments closing early.
