Presidency University Impressions

The rules are a little to strict. They need to understand that the college is way too far from the city and traveling time is a little too much so sometimes we do get late to reach college. They close the main gates at 9.30 and don't open it until it's 12 that leads to attendance shortage of many students making it a very big issue

The course is taken from bits pilani and is very well organized and student friendly. The curriculum is really high level but the faculty that are recruited are very high qualified and hence the teaching is top notch

Yes the college does provide internship across Bangalore. Around 300 companies are there to choose from for every branch that there is.I'm not really sure about stipend because we aren't paid for the internship it's more of a experience

The placements and job opportunities are top notch too. Tho the college is new there have been many companies that have come for placements and they are very high and well known companies that come for the placements

There are a lot of events happening in my college. The main ones include meraki the cultural youth fest which is so exotic and splendid it's a must visit for all the youth our there. There are special arrangements for DJ Nights and hence it's worth

The fee isn't too expensive. For the cet quota we get to pay around 75k per year and that's fixed. Management seats are around 1.5 lakh or less for the different batches to choose from. Hence I wouldn't call the fee too expensive

There a lot of scholarships that are being offered by our college many of them are from the government of Karnataka and the college provides every support to claim the scholarship amount easily and hence are very cooperative

Yes there is every kind of sport available in presidency University. And labs are very huge and equipped with high tech and latest instruments and the faculty are very eager to teach us about the experiments

I'm not sure about the hostel because I'm a day scholar. But according to what I've heard the hostel facility is really good too there are faculty looking after every hostel and it's well organized and maintained

Yes the seniors are really good. There is no ragging at all so the interaction between the students is very very transparent and yeah they do guide us as seniors a lot and help in any sort of issue regarding academics too

The exam is very very well organized and disciplined. there is literally no chance malpractice. Even if found strict action will be taken on the student who has been caught in doing the practice. The exam has 2 internals and one external which is continuous assessment

I got my admission through the list of kcet (Karnataka common entrance test ) there's a list that's provided and we get to choose from a list of colleges which in turn I got into this college. I visited the college and checked the campus and was very surprised about so I got in immediately.

The faculty are very very well qualified and the teaching is so good that even the dullest of students find interesting and start studying. That's the method of teaching and experience these faculty show.
