Course Curriculum Overview

4

The MBBS course is designed to achieve the overall basics abilities a physician needs in the future to practise on the patients. There are overall 19 subjects which need to be dealt with for one to become an undergraduate in MBBS. It's satisfying to able to learn to help people but it's not easy as the years go by.

Internships Opportunities

4

Internship is usually done for our own colleges and they give us salaries for that. I don't really have an idea about the salary provided during internship. We have to do a year worth of internship in different courses.

Fees and Financial Aid

SSP NSP These two are the ones which are directly recommended to us for scholarships. As I had SSP scholarship, it covered both my hostel and college fee. Helped a lot considering the price or else.

Campus Life

5

The campus of Ramaiah is a small town in itself. It has got everything you need for just a few minutes of walk. It has serene atmosphere and very beautiful. There are fests and events going around all the time and there are clubs for people interested in different categories.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel I'm currently accomodating is old but quite good. There are 4 types of rooms available. (Sharing is for 2 people) Single attached and unattached bathrooms. Sharing attached and unattached bathrooms. There is gym and study room facilities. The mess provides food at cheaper prices than outside.

Admission

I had previously been selected for esic gulbarga in my initial mock round but I decided to go farther and experience a new life and go to a college with more opportunities as the esic gulbarga was recently built. I had known about Ramaiah since a kid and wanted to join this institute so I decided to give it a shot.

Faculty

5

Overall every year has different faculty and their style of teaching differs. They teach us and conduct the exams as per the NMC guidelines and allow us to get accustomed to the exams. The exam pattern depends on the faculty incharge and their style.

Night Life

5

Our college has library running till 11pm usually but during finals they keep it open till 1am which is a huge help. The hostels have gym facilities available and also the study rooms. There is a food street right inside college so you don't really have to wander around for food.

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
