College review

First the were influenced to make my decision to take the Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering was the placements of this department compared to others. The curriculum is well structured and also they updating once for 4 years. Need more real world applications in laboratories. The timings for exam is around 3 hours in semesters and the difficulty level of the exam is almost easy to clear.

College refers a company for an internship, the name of the company is " Woory Automotive pvt ltd" which is located in Kanchipuram, Maraimalai nagar. The role was Trainee , Stipend was 8k.per month. The technology we have learnt was Surface mount technology and Through hole technology.

From sixth semester students becomes eligible for campus placements. Top companies like Amazon,TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HUL, HCL and so on.. And I got offer in 2 companies are Infosys and Base Automation Technologies. Highest package is 51laks per annum and the average package is 3 to 5. 90% of people's are easily getting placed. Plans after getting the placements is to work.

Total fees structure is 10 lakhs per course expect hostel fee 2,50,000 for each year Including (tuition fees, caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, development fees, lab fee) Hostel fee starting from 100000 depends upon the facilities and rooms of hostels Scholarship is also available for those who will get top grader in first year, college will pay the 2nd year fees for the student.

Milan and Aarush are the famous events in our college. Around 20 to 30 festivals will happening here because here is all the state students are studying that's the main reason. The facilities and technology provisions in the class rooms are Projectors, LED Display like smart telivision, AC and so on..

The bed with writing tables are given to the students, There was Wi-Fi facilities in every rooms in the hostel. The meal was very good. The registration process was not a problem and it was very easy. I stayed in hostel only which was an amazing experience.

I also applied Vellore Institute of technology in Vellore and Chennai, and one more Manakula Vinayagar Engineering college in pondicherry. I got confirmed in Manakula Vinayagar Engineering college,the reason why I denied to join there was placements and infrastructure and Multicultural because in SRM there is a lot of students from other states and other countries. The reason why I got rejected was ,I didn't get enough marks in entrance test Process - 80% in 10th and 12th standard, I got management seat so I'm not sure about the cutoffs.

The faculty to students ratio is overall good. The relationship between the students and faculties is very good. My best faculty is Dr.Kirigalan , He is a Good professor and he'll always open to help students after the college time also. The course are well structured. We can expect 7 to 8 subjects for each semesters and everything is easy to clear only.

GD tropics are very simple and related general topics like EV Growth in India. The rest pattern is low both aptitude and technical.PCM The process of admission is very nice and very easy only the criteria is that SRM JEE cutoff. The preparation is to simple from school.

The main thing I would like to mention here is library,over 4 lakhs books are placed in library including IAS,IFS,IPS, Central and State government aspirants also can use it. The gym is overall good. Campus timing is 8 to 4 depending upon day orders and departments. Security is very strict here so students can't do any unnecessary activities inside the campus.
