Need for development as per recent changes and requirements of the student so to enhance the overrall experience of the student and to gain knowledge that is might be benefical for student apart from the course they offered.
Course Curriculum Overview
Exam and Course Curriculum is governed by Mumbai University rules, but from my point of view there is need of update in exam structure with competitiveness of the market and should be adapted to market conditions
Placement Experience
Job placement were limited in our college but however when it started and overed we had no idea. However as per conversation with my friends company which came for campus placement were not as good. It was just a kind of formality to be completed by every college
College Events
G N khalsa college is famoua for their event Nazarana which is always superb, it has DZ, cultural event and all other events that students may enjoy, Every event is college has security every year event use to govern by high security standard. Apart from that other events like Mantan and Days celebration was also there.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As my section was aided by government grants so fees were minimal as per rules. Around 4000 to 8000 p.a (for open category) that what i paid. Fees were different for different category of student as per govt laws
Fees and Financial Aid
I didn't availed for any scholarship. but i knewed that one of my friend has opted for the same which for student for weaker economy section of the family, this was not based on caste but finance. Student eligible and willing to study but with inadequate finance were granted such scholarahip with concession in their fees
Campus Life
This college is know for it sports. It has huge grounds for sports student with trainers for respective sports. Football, hockey, Basketball, Taikandu, Kick booking were the famous sports. Sport student were encouraged to take part in different competition. Labs and other infrastructure were also available as needed.
Hostel Facilities
Not opted for Hostel, college didn't had hostel facility for student coming for other parts of country. Hostel and other related facilities are required to ease the students from other cities or town.
Alumni/Alumna
Friends and seniors are part and parcel of college life, from senior there were no ragging issue faced or related issue. Student always help each other in time of need whether it ne studies or any other.
Admission
After my HSC I applied online through Mumbai University and got admission through merit list. I was not a inhouse student so my cut off was bit high but i secured decent number in HSC (83.38%) my name appeared in second merit list.
