Course Curriculum Overview

4

There were some lecture of intelligent personality which really helps us to decide the courses after graduation. Some of the teacher's teches us only bookish knowledge which I felt they should give practical oriented approach too. There was surprise test which was taken on monthly basis

Internships Opportunities

5

I have completed 60 hours internship in Airavat Pack craft company. It was mandatory internship for the special subject cost accounting. In this internship, I learnt about costing valuation methods of inventory, procurement process of raw material, quality inspection process. Overall it was good experience.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since at that time it was receiving government grant the first year fees was 6000, next year fees was 6500 and for last year it was 7000. In this fees all types of fees were included like tuition fees , caution fees , registration fees and everything which are essential. There were scholarships too

Campus Life

4

They don't provide the annual functions like gathering for commerce students specifically. Books are easily accessible for particular time. No facilities were there . They offered more to specific students. But overall it was the good experience.

Admission

I have given second preference to this college. It was not bad. But unfortunately I didn't get the opportunity in first college which I decided. But I was not disappointed coz I have reviewed before I took admission. The admission process in not too much complicated it's simple . Just need to give correct documents in time Yes they have cutoffs critiria for admission

Faculty

3

2 to 3 faculties were really good and supportive. They helped us in organising some events like quiz competition. Pratik Rathod sir was best faculty since he was calm and composed. I don't like Divya mam cause of her rude behaviour towards some students. There were 2 unit tests of 20 marks and 2 semester paper throughout the year. And they are at moderate level.

Night Life

3

We oftenly went to cafeterias and library . The timing was 11 to 4pm There were strict rules regarding to library areas so it was good because we were able to study continuously without any disturbance. Our college provide night college facilities too .

Placement Experience:

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
