Remarks
It's quite neat and clean. It has been ranked no 1 in terms of cleanliness. Also MDU has been graded as A+ university by NAAC.Campus is really beautiful, so much greenery is there. Washrooms are also clean.
Course Curriculum Overview
It's good. For each subject, 100 marks theory exam is there in semester. 50 for sessionals. And about lab it's 25 marks for internals. 25 marks for viva. There are some marks for assignments, presentations, attendance too.
Placement Experience
Placements are good here (CSE) . If I talk about CSE, around 8-10 companies visit our campus last year. Also, college provide its campus for various job fairs too. College does not provide internship but often workshops are conducted here.
College Events
Rang Utsav ( organised by UIET Clubs and Services) (departmental event) National fest (dates, I don't remember) but it was on very large scale. Many celebrities went there in that fest. There were regional languages play. And many more.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible. Like I am a general category student, per semester fees is around 34,000/-. If you talk about hostel then it's also not that much expensive I guess around 10,000 annually costs. (excluding mess) .
Fees and Financial Aid
No such scholarship or loan facilities are available or given by college. It's state University hence funded by Haryana State government hence I haven't ever heard about any of it. Yes there is one scholarship about which I have heard that is scholarship to the toppers of last sem /year(don't know) but haven't ever got it. May be economically backward people are given priority in availing that.
Campus Life
Labs are excellent. There are many labs in UIET itself. Physics lab, Chemistry labs, Biotech labs, DSD lab, Digital Electronics lab, electric lab, intelligent system labs etc. About Sports, there are 2-3 basket ball courts. Cricket ground. Badminton courts are really awesome.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, they are helpful in providing and guiding about books, syllabus pattern, exam pattern, schedule sharing, and also very much important about teachers ( like for whom, what is important, like for some attendence is the thing that matters the most, for some marks matters the most, in that way)
Admission
By online haryana counselling, after giving exam JEE ( it's weightage was 60%) and 12th standard marks (40%) , according to both, the merit list was prepared by which we have been alloted a college. I was having 27,722 AIR.
Faculty
All type of teachers exist everywhere. It only depends on us how sincerely we undertake the job and our course for what we have paid for. There are some teachers who are really very helpful, sincere towards her/his duty.
