Unforgetable college life.

The college overall is fine the good point about it is the faculty which is highly qualified and have great skill of teaching the bad point are the labs they need to be upgraded to high tech labs.

I took Joint entrance examination(JEE mains) for the admission in the coolege i scored 150 points out of 360 in that examination and got admission in electronics and communication branch for B.Tech Talking about why i chose the particular college, there was not any better choice them opting for this college firstly i did not had to go outside state and the college is at walking distance for me second reason was that it is one of the top engineering coll in our country.

In our college there are total of 8 courses offered for B.Tech viz. civil, mechanical, electronics and communications, electical, computer science, IT, chemical and metalurgy. I chose electronics and communications as i had intrest in gadgets and all that the course is bit bit tougher than the other ones the faculty of the college is very nice i cant ask for any better teachers than i have there every teacher teaches us as good as he can.

So far i have not had a lot to experience in my college as it is only my 1st semester there so far it has been a hood experience to be a part of such prestigious institution every year top companies like hp wipro khyber etc visit our college the highest stipend so far in the college is Rs72Lac per annum for the student of computer science average stipent is generally around 3 4 lac per annum.

Every year the college provides placements for its student through various placement drives every year companies visit the campus to recruit students from different branches there are also a good number of job opportunities for the students lateron after passinfg out of the college.

Since it is only my first semester and it has been few months in the college so i only saw one event in my college so far and its name was techcaganza in this event various students showcased thier inventions to the companies that had come to the campus and many students also got placements during the event.

The fee for the first semester was 40000 for the open category non hosteler and from the 2nd semester onwards the fee will be Rs21030 In the last semester extra 500 are to be paid as degree fee the fee for me was quite feasable for a poor student it might be expensive but for me it was fine.

No i dont know about any such kind of thing so far i have not got any scholarship or loan so cant say about this may be in future i will get some scholarships but as of now i didnt get any.

Talking abount the campus life it is very differnent from the school life but very nice overall there are a lot of extracurricular activities in our college like trekking camping marathons etc there are also many tournaments played in football cricket and basketball both in the campus or im some other college. The labs need a bit upgradation they are not of the level as they should be. Debates are also held about certain topics in the auditorium of the college. Gender ratio is near about 50 50 and there is no ineqaulity on the basis of religion sex or caste whatsoever.

I dont live in the hostel i live nearby the college in same locality so there is no need for me to take the hostel facility so i cant say anything about it.

The senior students are very nice and friendly with us and help us a lot when we need any help there is not even a trace of ragging in the college which proves how good the seniors are.

The exams are conducted frequently there are many tests before the real test that is the semester exams and the exams really leave us with a hectic day.
