Getting a soul food in college

Faculty, infrastructure needs a massive change. Beacuse facilities are usually biased they have a certain kind of ego & negative self esteem. But some teachers are extremely well & helpful college is densly covered with lush green forest that needs to be taken care of

Curriculum needs a massive change we don't have any kind of Extra curricular activities alloted to us. Exam is of practical 50 marks theory internal 30 & external 70 makes it 150marks each. Internal exam consists of 2 class test, quiz, assignment & a suprise test & parcatical of practical test, quiz , suprise test & viva

We have a decent placement with a placement rate of 75% . Usually people are placed in IT firms mostly TCS, Accenture,Delloite, Vedanta, Robert Bosch, Maruti Suzuki are the major job provider here. No its doesn't offer but yes some information is always being displayed on the the notice board about the possible internship

Usually we have major 2 events anually that is perception ( technical fest) & xtasy (cultural fest) apart from it we have dance events , entrepreneurship awareness week, departmental fest , Hackathon etc

Fee structure is quite feasible as it is a government college. So there are 2 divisions one is SSC course another is non SSC it stands for self sustainable course are those course which are not subsidise by government i.e computer science, Information technology, biotech etc) SSC stream fees are double of non SSC strem. Non SSC- 32000/- & SSC- 64000/-

Yes loan is available from any nationalised bank & scholarship is also available for merit student , whose family income is less than 4 laks a year,etc. Maney students Avail these facilities & separate scholarship for ST/SC students

Only cricket, basketball& badminton is most feasible game in my college . No other facilities are available as due to lack of maintanance in government college . Yes we have some good technical clubs, sports club , entrepreneurship cell, dance club & drama club

Hostel ia not that luxury to be honest .yes basic amenities are available 2 times a meal for boys & 3 times for girls which is a debatable topic of gender equality. Yes rooms are furnished with beds & tables & chairs for each individual

Yes in some branches alumni network is a must need thing in our college some branches like textile engineering alumni is the backbone of there placement drive. Because they are wholly depend upon that. Senior students are very helpful & cool they always motivate us for good work .

For admission someone has to appear JEE MAIN then based on rank obtained you need to fill the counciling form for ODISHA JEE as it is a government college. Then on the rank basis you college is alloted to you it has 3 stages in which you will be given a college finally at the end

Most of the facilities are of contractual type they are hired for a fix period of time . Where as we also have permeant & very well educated faculties but the number is low. Faculties are strict with attendence point of view & some are extremely student friendly
