My College from my point of view

My college is the best in the city as far as my opinion is concerned. It is the only college that emphasises on extra and co curricular activities. The Entrepreneurship Development Cell is the only cell in Maharashtra to organizer a national level summit.

The curriculum is up to date. We are taught exactly what is required in the industry right now. We have 2 sets of exams, T1 and T2 and then directly End-Sem exams. T1(test1) is of 20 marks and it is on first 3 chapters T2(test2) is a 10 marks marks mcq test and it is on first 4 chapters. End-Sem exam is of 50 marks on all the 6 chapters.

They assure placements. Placements are good in my college. The highest package last year was that of 28 lakhs per annum. Our college does not provide internship. We have to make sure we do it on our own.

There are various cells and clubs in our college which include EDC (entrepreneur development cell), NSS (national social service), Gandharva which is the annual fest and respective branches have their own respective clubs.

The fee structure is pretty feasible. There are facilities for financially backward classes. The fees changes as per the category and quotas but for open category, it is something around 1,35,245. The facilities provided as good enough as per the fees.

I have not availed for any scholarship nor have i availed for any loan facility. But i am aware that the college does provide scholarship on the basis of marks and their financial condition. One just needs to provide the necessary documents.

They are extremely good. They provide opportunities. We also have sports council for which students can apply for. Our college is a lot in extra curricula activities that way. They pay a lot of attention to extra curricular. They believe a student need to be an all rounder, not just academically active.

I have not availed the hostel facility so i am not aware of it. But definitely there is hostel facility for which the students can opt for. Normally, as far as i have heard, the hostel isnt good enough and hence students opt for hostel facility outside the college.

Seniors are extremely helpful. It is because of them that we are aware of all the facilities available in our college, be it academic facilities or extra curricular facilities. They have very nice nature and so far there hasnt been any case of ragging ever.

I got admission in this college through common entrance process(CAP rounds) which is done on the basis of CET marks. There are 3 rounds that are carried out. In the 3rd round i got admitted to this college.

Faculty of my college is average. They know the subject that they teach. Some of the faculties are nice and know their subject, while others are confused and beat around the bush. At the end of the day we have to study for the exams on our own.
