College Review

I'm glad I'm part of my college and I look forward to learn and grow with them everyday. Degree college is so much fun and interesting, made lot of new friends,met different people,etc. The only negative part is the limited campus space and waterlogged stations during the rains and sometimes the practical timings.

Till now I have had no problems or difficulties and it's quite interesting. We have 10 subjects in one year divided into 5 and 5 in two semesters. The exam structure is weekly or surprise tests and two semester exams annually conducted by the Mumbai University.

It's my first year in college so I had e no idea about job opportunities, but I've learned from my seniors that there are quite a few people who are getting hired by top notch companies from our college. However, I do not know much about whether our college provides internships or not , but some apps do , which allows us to learn and also gain some pocket money.

Every college is known for its activities and so is ours. Visions is the annual fest of our college and it's celebrated with great enthusiasm and active participation from the students. There are many clubs who are incharge of the events. There are many workshops, for singing, dancing, comedy and so much more it's an open platform for our talents. Similarly all other festivals are celebrated.

The fee structure is feasible, it's almost the same as compared to the other colleges, keeping in the mind the services they provide. There are scholarships and schemes for students who cannot afford it, so according to me there's no harm in the fees.

Not very sure about the loan facilities our college has to offer, but there are certain scholarships for academically brilliant students. Also the minority community students get to avail of such opportunities because of the college being run by the minority community people.

The labs are renovated recently and they're pretty much impressive, the new library and reading hall is upto the mark. Nowadays more children can be seen there . There are opportunities for all the students interested in sports, selections for the college team were just held, there was fresher's day conducted with great interest.

Senior students have always been very helpful , be it in any college. From providing notes, advices, helping us out often, life hacks, they have been there. The fresher's day they conducted brought joy to us. The other alumni network is also great .

We were required to apply under Mumbai University, get ourselves registered and apply to different colleges.We were allowed to the colleges on the basis of our merit,i.e our 12th board exams. I was allotted my college and was required to submit particular documents and pay the fees.

I have not faced any problems with the teaching staff till now, all of them are friendly and comfortable to interact with. However the non teaching staff, i.e the peon, the watchman lady sometimes tend to be very rude for no reason which I don't support.
