This course B.A English (H) will never prepare you for any job and this course does not include anything which prepare you to handle real world applications. But the elective courses along with it are really helpful and and if student wish to learn them so they learn many effective things. Teachings are generally theory based, no practical knowledge otherwise some faculties are great. Exams are always on time and the difficulty is easy as teachers help in giving good marking.

For particularly my course, students are eligible fr campus placements from 5th semester, some of them get the placement as well, but the negotiation of onboarding the candidate is done between college amd company and students have to act according to their final decision. There are no. of companies have visited there, named as G shaw, Accenture, TCL, Zomato, etc.. Highest package offered for humanities department was 22 lakhs but no one achieved it but average package students get placed at wrre 4 lakhs. Plans after getting a degree is to prepare for government exams or carry on the same path.

For the B.A English (H), or other courses under humanities department, course fee is approximately ?300000 for whole course i.e ?50'000/semester. Fee includes ?1000 for bus(cumpolsury even if you are not using) ?1000 for medical charge ?1000 student online information fee ?3000 security deposit/year Other facilities are also in the same fee and may vary according to the situation. Like last year at college includes degree fee, momento fee etc. Additionally at starting addmission fee is ?10000. Many options for scholarship No Domicile scholarship in Graphic Era deemed to be University Scholarships for students from Army background from 5 to 10%. Students scored more than 95% in their 12th class have scholarship worth 30 to 40%(under condition of maintaining cgpa and attendance) For Girls additional 5 to 10% scholarship is there. Else many scholarship options, may vary time to time. If we pay fee yearly then 10% discount half yearly wise = 5% discount Quarterly = no discount

College is great at conducting fests and events with inviting big celebrities which enhances the experience of the college. Every month there are events going on in college and with DJ night 2 times a year, with mega celebrity fest every year. The accessibility of books is great at library you can find many books in the library other than course and you can get it as well. Class room are basic, a.c are not available and even fans are not good. Sports facilities are good but only if you there after classes and there not many options for you to play but college conduct tournaments time to time, students also have chance to compete with other colleges. Many clubs are there which supports in students overall well being and grooming.

This college has great name in the state and students coming out of this college have really been successful in their life, their overall management of services in college is great and variety of courses are there. College also provides us option to opt out from the course to choose another one, within one month if we are not fit for that course.

The faculty to student ratio is good and there is always availability of teachers for the course s. But for some value added or elective courses like entrepreneurship development, college does not have required faculty, these subjects are always taught by random faculty. There are 2 exams per semester, one midterm (included half syllabus) and other the end term(includes full syllabus). Midterm includes 10 questions where we are to appear 5 questions (50 marks) and end term includes 20 questions where 10 questions are to be appeared by us(100 marks) weightage for end term is 50% then 25% for mid term and the remaining 25% for internal marks( teachers are supposed to give it)

Graphic era is located at good place and there are many options inside the campus and plenty of options outside the campus and there are nice places to hangout like Buddha temple. All facilities of p.g, rooms , flats are available for students around there. Night life is not that good in dehradun but according to dehradun there are many options outside college till late night and the locality is safe for girls to roam at night. Hostels are good in infrastructure and they provide good facilities at reasonable price. Boys hostel outing timing is till 9 to 10 p.m. Girls outing is strict till 6 p.m only.
