Remarks
KIIT is indeed a good choice if you have to opt for private college in the East of India. The thing that really adds to the cons of this college is it's fees structure . Spending such a lot of money for under graduate courses sometime is really not acceptable .
Course Curriculum Overview
KIIT breaks the marks on 40 and 60 suming up to 100 . 40 is the internal marks in which 25 will be your mid semester exam marks and the rest 15 will be class tests which are held when the teacher wants . The rest 60 is the end semester exam marks .
Placement Experience
Placement depends upon your capability . But , yes KIIT provides you with a pretty good placement . The KIIT SCHOOL OF BIOTECHNOLOGY has indeed a healthy placement along with other departments of KIIT . Though the rate of placement provided is not constant. Some year they have nearly about 90 percent placed and some year not even 70 . But still in this era KIIT is giving you job if you are really capable of it . Internships are mostly arranged by the students , college does not help a student to arrange for it but support their students through recommendation letters and other such documents required for Internships.
College Events
There are several events that are celebrated in KIIT .The KIIT Fest is a mega event happening every year with top celebrities coming every year . The departmental fest are also there which are also worth enjoying . Different puja especially Saraswati puja are also celebrated in KIIT with lot of pompous and special menu running in the hostels.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is very expensive . We have to pay 189000 including hostel fee per semester this is the minimum fees that can be paid . Higher payments are needed depending upon the kind of hostel you have opted for . KIIT is not at all a cost effective college . The expenses are sky touching .
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship are given to the highly talented students who are mostly the top ranked students in the college. KIIT provides scholarships for engineering students. Based on his/her 3rd semester sgpa and cgpa, they select some students who are eligible for the scholarship.
Campus Life
If you are really good at sports the college is all ready to help you and same goes for any other extracurricular activity you are interested in . We have a different societies working mainly under the head of KSAC( KIIT SCHOOL OF ACTIVITY CENTRE) . The lab facilities are extraordinary with some good machines in which you will enjoy working.
Alumni/Alumna
In this college senior students can be a boon or may be a curse in your life . Some senior students will treat you as your brother showing the correct path and some may drag you towards your self destruction .
Admission
I got admission in this college through KIITEE which is held once every year in the month of of April (dates may change) . There is different exam for entrance in different departments . Admission is given to the students according to their ranks .
Faculty
The faculties of KIIT are mostly of high quality . They are pretty professional and sets up a high standard in academics . Some of the faculties may become a blessing in your life guiding you to the correct path .
