Likes
- Definitely the infrastructure as it is upgraded after COVID and now we have every possible thing at our campus which an elite institute has.
- Students quality as only students with merit are allowed to take admissions here.
- Faculties as even they have to go through a drill where they are first appointed as temporary faculties and then they are set permanent.
Dislikes
- Girls aren't much as it is located close to highway so parents don't send their female child here.
Course Curriculum Overview
CSE is for students with top scores and since I had that, I took admission in this branch and this college. We have 30 marks internals which are currently going on and then final semester exams in April end or May 1st week.
Placement Experience
Marico, Honeywell Solutions, Cummins India and many non tech companies which needs tech in their system are the ones that offer better placements. Otherwise TCS, Wirpo and others also come but they offer in the range of 5-6 lakhs an annum while the non tech companies which i mentioned at the top offers 10-12 lakhs a year.
Fees and Financial Aid
KIET Group of Institutions in Ghaziabad is like an institute which is best for engineering. Still the fees is 1/3rd of IITs as they charge 3.5-4 lakhs and our college charges just 1.37 lakhs a year. Also, UP Government have so many scholarships schemes for SC/ST students. Even college has applied so many scholarships schemes for students that everyone can stand eligible for the scholarship programs.
Campus Life
Nearly 20 acres operational and the land bank of the institute is massive. Slowly and steadily they are growing and expanding. Some old age buildings but some new blocks are constructed too and have every latest equipment and facilities for students. Sports wise we have two grounds and volleyball, basketball and tennis courts too. Equpos is our annual fest and Tech fest is also conducted evey year as well.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are quite a few and I have opted for the two seater room for which we get option only from second year. In first year, three seater rooms are compulsory. Fees is 100k and rooms are spacious and good. Also, mess are good as they serve both veg and non veg meals.
Admission
Admission are based on state entrance for engineering and also BITSAT and Jee mains scores are taken. Every entrance cut-off is different like I got through JEE Mains ranks and I was ranking 12000. Se between 10-15000 JEE rankers they can take admission here. For CSE it can't be over 12000 or so as otherwise they have to content with different branches.
Faculty
Faculties are two types as some are permanent and most are guest or temporary faculties. Just like students they also have to prove their mettle and once students say and the results are in line, they are made permanent. So, glad to sah that faculties here are best to none as our college students have their upper hand among all the colleges of AKTU.
Night Life
Our college is nearly the highway so that makes outsiders or give outsiders an edge as we get buses at will. For food there are highway cafes and 24*7 shops at petrol pumps. Pizza Hut to Burger King, we have all those outlets too.
