The infrastructure is good. And good learning environment
Good teaching stuff and they teach the topic so well

The hostel rooms are messy and bad in condition

Course Curriculum Overview

We have CBME curriculum from our senior. We are exposed to case based learning, self directed learning, small group discussions , Problem based learning with several assignments such as library and museum assignments

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 63000 per year

Internships Opportunities

We ought do a one year internship where we get to treat patients and get used to the job. And as per now they pay the current intern a sum of 35000 and they even give them cases and assignments to do.

Fees and Financial Aid

My college fee is 63000 per annum and 315000 for all 5 years and I'll be provided with scholarship of 26000 per annum with free mess bill and also I'll be provided with free books and laptop. I've got enough benifits

Campus Life

It's a very environment to study and has good competition. And moreover campus has a library and study room were we can study 24/7. We have college cafeteria. And there's student council which brings about awareness about issues

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are ok but it's messy. Walls are wet and we share 3 people. Hostel food is bad no quality and we do get many varieties of food but not worth paying the mess bill. And it's affordable and good

Admission

I choice this college because it's one of the stop colleges in karanataka and moreover it's closer to Bangalore and Mysore and my home too. Moreover there's good patient outflow and helps us to learn better

Faculty

The faculty is amazing, they are good at certain subjects which is nice. They make sure it's a interactive class. My course is about 5.5 years. 4.5 years of course and 1 year internship. Exams are conducted strictly

Night Life

Hostel Life is so good. We do have curfew. They have provided us with study area in the hostel where we can study well. Boys Hostel curfew is at 11 and girls hostel curfew is at 7. There will be caretakers to take care

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

Mbbs course is one of the high respective course. We want to face many struggles during exams. But in future we will become excellenct doctor. Exams are not that much tough, but still passing marks in mbbs course is 40% (cbme curriculum). Last year it was 50% passing marks. We want to practice diagram for anatomy and physiology we want to write short notes.

The curriculum is great. It is followed as per RGUHS ( Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences) guidelines. There are currently RS4, RS5 and RS6 curriculums. Each curriculum is different in it's own way. The pattern of subjects, exams and NEXT exam has changed as per each year and curriculum.

We have internals once in around 3 months and we have yearly final exams. The average of the three internals is added to the final marks to declare the results. The exams are of average difficulty. Not too difficult to pass.

Placement Experience:

The first batch of students is passed out in this year from our college. Now they are doing their house sutgency. Besides they are preparing for their pg studies. Most of the students will opt for higher studies like MS, MD, etc. Our hospital is average with average cases. And specialty hospital construction work is going on.
