Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriclum is little bit hectic as compared to other departments but its managble and can be done a within a week of the exam. Mostly previous night. We have an introductory course running in second semester and had one course about history of aerospace in the first semester. We also have a basic programming course and maths courses.

Internships Opportunities

4

There are very few internship in core sector but if you are interested in software/IT sector it is easy to get an internship. There is placement cell which will help you get 9internship as well also you can apply for internships on your own, former is generally the backup option if you afre not able to find a good internship on your own.

Placement Experience

5

Campus placement is offered. In Fact most student opt for campus placement only. You can apply for off campus placement as well. The reputation of college is such that it helps in placement a lot. Students are eligible for campus placement after the 7th semester. I am planning to do MS in aerospace from a reputed foriegn university.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees I am paying is nearly 2,80,000. 2,00,000 is the tution fees. 26,000 is hostel fees, 45,000 is mess fees. 2200 is gymkhana fees 2200 is examination fees, 600 is SAIF(student accident insurance fund) and 1800 is SBF and 2000 is medical fees.

Campus Life

5

Clubs: Well there are many clubs present in the college for example there is a club on film making, acting , dancing, singing, instruments aand many more technical clubs. Tech Teams: Apart from technical clubs we also have various tech team which participates in competition all across the world. I am in a tech team called Aerove which makes drones and VTOLs. Infrastructe: Well there are infrastructure available for sports that i never knew they existed.

Hostel Facilities

5

Well you have a bed, table, chair, cupboard to yourself in a room. The meal quality is 3/5 for lunch and dinner and 4/5 for breakfast and snacks. There is a variety in menu. Also in my opinion it is value for money.

Admission

Well I already had the college(IITB) in my mind before starting the preperation of JEE mains. I cleared mains and Advanced with a little bit of hardwork and luck and got admision in aerospace department.

Faculty

5

We have a very well educated and experienced faculty. We also get many guest lecturers. and visiting proffesors are also the leading researchers and developers of the field. For example we had our intoductroy lecture from a scientist who is also called the father of bramhos.

Night Life

5

Nightlife is very lit. Most of the canteens are open till 4 in the morning. There is no night curfew. You can leave your hostel when you want to and no permision required. The locality is almost safe with some exceptional sightings of leopards. Library closes at 11 pm but we have reading halls running 24x7.
