I like the campus of college which was very big and enlarge.

The facilities in college is not very great.
The faculty of civil engineering is not complete.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum in terms of relevence is good as I chose civil engineering because my dad is an civil engineer too so I was influenced by childhood to be an civil engineer. The college provides us good educational courses.

Internships Opportunities

My college has given the opportunity of internship in PWD Sunder Nagar and during that internship I get to know many civil Technologies that help me to be a good civil engineer and play the major role in being and civil engineering.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of my college is very affordable as compared to other government colleges of Himachal Pradesh. There was no scholarship applicable for me. The fees was around 35k per semester excluding hostel.

Campus Life

The overall experience of the campus life of my college was predicated they organise many fest like twask in which many activities like sport activities like a Badminton volleyball etc games are played and also fun activities like shooting dot etc are played and famous singer is also invited.

Admission

I choosed this college because it was a newly built college so I thought it would be a great college to choose and pursue my path Asin civil engineer but when I join the college I realise that the faculty of civil engineering is not complete.

Faculty

The faculty member of colleges good but there are only two trades available mechanical engineering and civil engineering the faculty of civil engineering is not completed. The final and semester exams are conducted by hptu.

Interview Experience

Yes to get the admission in this college I have given JEE mains exam in which are scored 61% I which were enough to get admission in this college I study hard for the exam and later got admission in the college

Night Life

Then I like of my college was very good as we used to have connectivities like singing dancing etc with friends the timing to enter my hostel was around 9:30 p.m. after that nobody was allowed to enter in the hostel.

Placement Experience:

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

yes they povide placements. After 6th sem, means in 7th sem you are eligible for placement and apply for companies based on their requirements. Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits every year. Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

I took civil because is good and all teachers are on there post and are very good. Civil engineering plays very important role in construction of buildings and dams etc. Exams are mostly held in September November and December for odd sem and for Even sem it is feb April and may.

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Environment of my college

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

There are many ways to get admission the first step to get admission in our university is to give an entrance or through jee main percentile .
