I always got inspired by mechanical works so I decided to choose mechanical engineering to work in the construction as well as in the manufacturing field. The curriculum is mainly influenced by real world applications and mainly it involves practical works for students in the workshops and laboratories for learning. The teaching field can improve slightly but overall I have no complaints regarding that. The exams were conducted quite frequently and the difficulty level used to be moderate.

Our college provided internship opportunities to students those who opted for it, it was not mandatory though. Many students did internships from outside the college. I did the internship from within the college. Our college sent us to the tata steel workshop for learning various types of welding and other fabrication works done at the tata steel workshop for our understanding and learning.

The students gets eligible as soon as they reach the 7th semester for the pre placement programme organised by the campus placement cell of MSIT. Mostly 95% of the companies are IT based and 5% are from core engineering companies. Wipro, TCS, Mindtree, LTI spark and many other companies came here for recruitment purpose. Highest package from my year was around 30 lpa and average package was around 3.5-4lpa. around 65% if the students got placed during my year

The fees taken by the college and the facilities provided is very nominal and justified. The other batchmates of other categories also had to pay similar fees. Merit scholarships are being provided by college to the student.

This college is very good regarding festive celebration and other kind of program organizing. Annual programs sports and debate competitions are held quite frequently. Along with that inter-college competitions are also being conducted here. Almost all kinds of book of each genre is there for reading of students.

I only applied to this college because firstly It was nearby my home and secondly the way of teaching and campus placement records were decent enough for anyone to take admission here. I only tried to take admission here and didn't thought of taking admission elsewhere. I got good score and rank in the WBJEE exam as well as In the JEE mains which helped me to get the admission here.

The number of faculty members are sufficient for the students to handle. The students gets their attention quite well by the teachers, students can easily approach the teachers for study and other purposes. My personal favourite teacher was Namita madam from English literature department the way she made us learn English in fun way improved the vocabulary in large manner. The exams took place in their usual scheduled times 2 sems per year along side CA exams 4 times in a year. Unit and surprise tests were also conducted in between.

Our college doesn't have any kind of accomodation system for students, the students take rented accommodations nearby the college from where I got the report that during night out college name sparkles in the tower of the roof and it's a beautiful view to see during night.
