Likes

Cultural fest, event, Football and Cricket tournament occurred in college
Well trained faculty members. Always help you to solve your doubts.
Neat and clean College campus. Everywhere CCTV camera is installed for safety purpose.

Dislikes

Insufficient of classrooms and labs in our college.
No playground. So we have to organize tournament or any match outside of the college.
No more sufficient space to organize cultural fest, event.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am pursuing my b.tech from MEGHNAD SAHA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY in CSE( ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND MACHINE LEARNING). The subjects which are offered to us is really good. Mainly the faculty is best for our subject. As a example shatanik sir will guide you in ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE Subject, In Optimization Techniques Biswajit Maity sir will guide you. In DSA papun Roy will guide you and in DAA sankha Subhra Khan sir will guide. Overall I really enjoyed the teaching method.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 745000 per year

Internships Opportunities

After completion of 2nd year, and 3rd year during the summary break, college will provide you training internship. If you do this you will gather knowledge, whatever domain you choose. Also you can do intership from any company by your own.

Placement Experience

About 70% got placement through campus interview. Top recruiters of our college are TCS, CAPGEMINI, WIPRO ETC many more leading organizations. HIGHEST PACKAGE: 21 LPA LOWEST PACKAGE : 4 LPA AVERAGE PACKAGE : 5 LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

Currently I am pursuing my b.tech from MEGHNAD SAHA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY IN CSE(AIML). Fees structure is for 4 years is 6 lakh 25 thousands. I will say fees is little bit high with compare to the other colleges.

Campus Life

One of the good side of our college is free access of books to the students. Students any time go to the library, can take any book and can read. Every year Cricket and Football tournament is occurred, where auction is take place. Cultural fest, event such as ADVAYA, ATRIKON Also occurred in our college. So I loved it.

Admission

Well trained faculty members. They will clear our all doubts in theory and in practical. To get admission in MSIT you need to pass your Higher secondary exam + wbjee entrance exam. Also you can get admission with JEE marks.

Faculty

Faculty members of MEGHNAD SAHA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY is really well trained and very good. They will clear your all doubts. Lab assistant are also good. They are always there to help you. We can go anytime to the sir or madam with any doubts.

Night Life

College usually close by 6:30 pm. After that no students is allowed to stay in the college. Night life around MSIT is relatively calm. The locality is considered safe with good connectivity. Famous hangout places are acropolis mall, south city mall etc.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
