Breakdown of SSIPMT college.

As someone who wanted to get into a technical course, the information technology branch was my preference and the course was quite relevant to what I wanted to learn and grow my knowledge. My prime focus was learning Programming and my course includes various programming subjects like java, c, python, operating systems, computer network etc. The area where the course can be improved is teaching Java as well as C++ for our Oops learning, as it can provide more programming language options for students. The frequency of exams are 3 times every semester, one is class test 1, second is class test 2 and lastly the final exams. Best of two is chosen from the marks of class tests and added to the final result.

Here in our college various opportunity is provided, even few students do internships in TPO department of our college with stipend around 10 thousand. Internship and training programs are done by each and every students. Although people get opportunity for internship but still there could be imporvement in terms of giving more internship opportunities.

So far placement of my college has been good, There are many students who have received the average package of 6 LPA and the higestt package received this year was 20 LPA. The major companies which arrive for placement drives are Accenture and TCS, the higest package given by accenture was 16 LPA this year. Students starting from 6 semester are elligible to sit in any campus placements. I would say 60% of the students get placed in our college. My plans after getting the degree is to work for techincal job in a good Software company with a decent package.

Yearly fee of our college is around 85 thousand There is a caution fee of amount 2000 and 5000 for the registration fee which is taken before the admission and that particular amount is deducted from the final admission fee. The admission fee of the college is 42000. Fee of any other branch is as same as stated above. Merit students have been provided with the scholarships according to their received merits.

There are many technical events which are organized by various branches in our college. For example- Ras garba competition and event, Nexus event is organized for school students in our city to participate in technical and cultural programs,College is very appreciative about the gaming culture and many gaming battlle events are organized every year. The annual fest of our college is Agresita, many famous celebrities like Stebin bin, Yasir desai, KK etc have been in our college, truly it is one of the best experience. Various hackathons are also organised for the students of our college and other colleges too.

The major reason for me to choose this college was the placement ratios as this college provides with the best of placements in central India in terms of a private colleges. I got selected for CSE big data in a college but because of geographical restriction and I regected that college and chose my current college. You have to appear in CGPET exam which are condcuted every year and then appear for counselling, According to your obtained marks and rank you will be assigned with a college from your preferred list. Major preference is given to CGPET students only and the to students who have appeared in JEE exams. I would say CGPET exam is quite easy and difficulty of this exam is as same as 12th board so one could easily score good marks.

Faculty to student ratio is 1:10, the relationship between the faculty and student is quite supportive. They have always been approachable and helpful in every aspect. You just have to reach them out and they will be there to guide you through and through. There are many faculties who are really excellent but the one like the most is Mrs.Mehjabi khan mam, she teaches us Data structures and algorithms and her teaching method is very easy and understandable. There are 3 exams which are conducted in every semester---Class test 1(20 marks), Class test 2(20 marks) and lastly the final exam(100 marks). I would say the difficulty of these exams is moderate but still there are students who fail these exams but ratio is quite low. The course curriculum is quite relevant to the course, as we are IT students we are taught the subjects which are important for our learnings for instance the subjects included in our course is Basic programming, Oops, DSA, Operating System etc.

There is very less night life in our college, I am a day scholar but i do have knowledge about the hostel life. The cafeteria in our college is good but it is open only till 6 p.m. The campus is average although there is a lot of greeneries, ponds and gardens. Students from hostels are not allowed to leave the premasis without permission from the warden and the parents but overall hostel experience is good and reliable.
