Remarks
The college has a very nice atmosphere. The students are decent and friendly. New students too do not face much problem in adjusting to college environment. The range of extracurricular activities that our college offers lead to the overall development of an individual.
Course Curriculum Overview
The scope of course curriculum is very wide. I have 6 subjects in the 1st semester, namely, Principles of management, Financial Accounting-1, Micro-Economics, Statistics, Business Laws and Communicative English. Exams of all subjects except Financial Accounting-1 is based on MCQ format.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunities are excellent. The students graduated from this college get highly paid job in renowned institutions. The college provides internship opportunities to students from 3rd semester onwards. I am still in 1st semester and so have no personal experience to share.
College Events
The college hosts and participates in a number of events, in a large number of fields, be it dance, acting, singing, writing or anything else. The most prominent and famous event being it's fest, Umang.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is slightly expensive compared to other colleges but considering the number of activities and events it hosts for its students, it is justifiable. The college library is very big and has all the books that are needed so the money that we would be spending on books will be saved.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college offers scholarship to all those who have scored 90% or more on average in 5 subjects in class 12. The deserving students who cannot afford such a high fees structure are greatly relieved. Gujarati students are offered scholarships, irrespective of their marks.
Campus Life
There is a range of extracurricular activities. There are various collectives of which you can be a part of. There are collectives in the fields of art, literature, acting, NCC, event management, etc. There are also a number of sports and sports events in which the college takes part in.
Alumni/Alumna
The senior students are very caring, understanding and compassionate. They are always ready to help us whenever we need them. They give us advice as to what we should and what we shouldn't do, help us in our studies.
Admission
I filled the application form online. I checked out the merit list. I received a message to pay the admission fees by a date. I paid the admission fees online. Then, I was called to the college to verify my documents. The documents were verified and I got admission in the college.
Faculty
The college faculty is superb, the professors are highly qualified. They are very efficient and try to make learning as fun as possible. The Dean of our college is probably the coolest Dean in the whole of Eastern India.
