Remarks

Best college in west bengal to study your BE. It is affordable, it has great placements, great faculty, great GATE preparation help, great fest and overall a great atmosphere for college life. For me its always JU

Course Curriculum Overview

5

It is beautiful. Especially for GATE aspirants. The exam paper are pretty standard and the markings are also quite lenient. I think JU internals are way better than that of NITs or IITs. And anyway JU is one of the most academically acclaimed colleges in India so i dont really need to brag about it myself

Placement Experience

5

From what i have heard the placements are exceptionally good and a large number of big shot companies come to JU for placements and internships. So it is more that what any job seeker can ask for. Good marks are all that are needed to improve your packages

College Events

5

Sankriti is the fest of JU. Sanskriti in my opinion captures the true bong culture and beauty. It is just marvelous. The college also promotes a large number of cocuricular activities and sports that also improves the colleges pride and is listed amongst one of its large number of achievements

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is excessive cheap. It is affordable literally for all. All you need is good merits and that is it. For BE in all courses except IT the cost for 4 years of studying is about 12000 rules and that for IT is around 120000 rupees which also is mich lesser than other GFIs

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship facilities are available in large number but i dont have much detail about them. The only thing i have a detail about is that the college offers quite lenience towards the sports quota. It is a very good college for enhancing your sports career while maintaining your academics

Campus Life

5

The college also promotes a large number of cocuricular activities and sports that also improves the colleges pride and is listed amongst one of its large number of achievements. A very cheerful college with a very motivating attitude

Alumni/Alumna

Most of the famous alumnis outstandingly successful in their lives and the seniors are very friendly and helpful. And there is absolutely no ragging in the college whatsoever. There are always people to help you in your troubles no matter where you are from

Admission

Lots of long lines and waiting hours and then finally you enter the long awaited ac office that your body had been begging for to verify your documents and get admission. Hours and hours of wait from 1.50 in the afternoon to 9 pm in the night to complete the entire process of verification. Oh what a experience it was!

Faculty

5

Very friendly faculty. Couldn't t have asked for better teachers and staff. It is the ideal college life every dtudent would hope for. All requirements are met and the pressure is also not too high. Every goes pretty smoothly in JU

I chose this course because I saw the potential in the course for a better and precise future since hospital management is overall management and administration is a part of management. The college provided us 2 internships which really helps us to gain exposure in practical life.

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.
