Exam structer- semester based exam.two semester per year,for honours student there are six semester,and for b.tech student there are eight semesters,for honours each subject carries 40 marks and 10 marks attendence,and for b tech student each subject carries 80 marks and 20 marks for attendence

Yes our college provides intership programs,,many of the students are here selected as a research scholar,and for placement opportunity,our placement officer helps us,,so many MNC companies come to our college for recruitment.

Our college celebrates- 15th August, teachers day etc and many more events like annual sports

Fees structure not so high,,it's normal It is around 2300-8500 per semester for different departments.

Yes there is a chance to get the scholarship and I got the scholarship

Campus Life

There is a electronics club,, which is associated with the IEEE,,where students can show their talent,,and also a big library in our college and a big play ground.

Hostel Facilities

Very good hostel,,the biggest hostel in Kolkata I have ever seen, infrastructure is so beautiful,, different hostel for boys and girls inside the university campus.

Yes most of the seniors are very helpful,,whenever the junior will come to them,,they helps as per their capacity in different cases,,may be in subject problem,,may be hostel problem,,any thind,the seniors are always with us

I got the chance through WBJEE entrance exam,,but there is also a exam 'AUAT' by which any student can get the chance to admit in this University.1st of all AUAT admission test,then publish the merit list,,nd then a student can get the chance

Faculty

Very good faculties,, they always help us in different cases,,they guide us properly,,teaches us very carefully and after that all of our faculties are very friendly,

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

1. Students generally get eligible for campus placements from the 3rd semester of the M.Sc. course. 2. Deperments like Biotechnology,Botany,Zoology have placement support. 3. Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
