Jagannath International Management School Kalkaji is one of the famous private colleges in Delhi. The college is affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. It is also known as JIMS Kalkaji is established in the year 2006.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very systematic and organized as it has been arranged by keeping in mind the student's interest and their ability to grab. The curriculum is not too fast but at the same time so knowledgeable so each student can learn at their own pace and also learn a lot. The exam structure is also really good as there is enough gap between the exams.

Jagannath International Management School KalkaJi has a well-established training & placement cell which regularly organizes pre-recruitment training and discussion programs among the final year students and arranges the campus recruitment programs for the final year students.

The total fee of college includes examination fees, tuition fee, development fee, and other small expenses. They have a fair or transparent fee structure, every information is provided regarding the fees. It is a one-time payment only that is one has to pay the fees once in a year only.

No, I didn't opt for any kind of scholarship and education loans. We provide the fees on a yearly basis.

Regular extracurricular activities are held in the college campus like Slogan making, Debate competitions, article writing to enhance students personality skills. The students are always encouraged to develop their soft skills and confidence by organising various presentations and group discussion.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network of the college is very supportive and helpful in ant kind of problem faced by the freshers. They rightly guide the students for better growth and opportunities.

Admission

The admission process was very smooth and fair. The admission process started with an entrance exam that was conducted by the University. After clearing the entrance exam four rounds of counselling was conducted in which colleges were allotted to the students on the basis of the preferences filled by them.

The teachers are very friendly and their teaching method is very lively as they teach with a lot of examples and real-life scenarios to inculcate interest in the subjects. Also, the faculty is very knowledgeable and supportive in clearing every doubt of each student.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I hdd 90.89 percentile in my CAT 2024 and 93.18 percentile in XAT 2025. These are very good scores and make a candidate like me eligible for top B-schools. I converted a lot of B-schools but around the time of admission I struggled with a few medical reasons and the fact that most of the B-schools were very expensive. Truth about jims kalkaji

The eligibility of the course is to have 50% minimum marks in your undergraduate. The application form, fees, and any other information regarding admission are available on thier admission portal.
