Process of an engineering admission

Good for self study, no one disturbed nobody, class infrastructure are good, campus good, play ground can be better, most last student teacher relation should be better and strong, a big gap between students and teacher.

Bachelor of engineering takes 8 semesters in 4 years, it covers most of the topics which are required for an engineering student. It covers from basic to details in civil subject, though as an autonomous university our college exams are so strict.

Because of our college is in rural area, it didn't got barely chance of placement, in a group where 80 students in college only 8 or 9 got selected in college campus, very poor campusing, M. Tech student gate stipend who came through GATE exam, No internship facility.

There are various events occurred in our college like fest, freshers party, robotics competition, sports like cricket football etc. We celebrate almost every festival in our college campus with pomp and grandeur. Its fun although.

I think feasible compare to others private colleges. At admission time fees are almost 28 k, after that all semesters fees is between 23000 to 24000 thousands per semester. It takes caution money 5000 thousand, which is refundable money. Yet i didnt get any money refund, hope they will return.

Scholarship are available for backward classes people which is paid by state govt through college, also economic poor background people also get facility that is like lucky draw, not sure who got the opportunity, it depends on office stuff.

I think in our college labs facility is enough, though only u càn get opportunity when teacher are interested, teacher dint gave enough time on labs, extracurricular activities totaly depend on student, they can do whatever they want to do,and facility are also available through friend not by teacher. Sports are happened.

Hostel takes 800 rupees per month, and have facility of canteen which takes rs 35 per meal, u can take two meals in a day, also for lunch u have to pay, all facility is available inside hostel, also tea stall are there but u have to pay for everything u want, rate is like the market rate.

Alumni network are not accessible though, but seniors are good and helpful, they helped us or we helped juniors in every way it's possible. Though ragging scenes happened but not like heavily, just a relatively way.

After qualifying 12th grade with science i appear in state entrance exam call WBJEE, i got secured almost 7000 rank, then i applied for e counseling. It takes three phase of counseling and secured a civil branch in same college, after that i get admit in same college.

Most of faculty are experienced and with masters degree in specific subject, they always try to cover what are they know, students can't ask questions to teacher, if asked they are looking to ignored by some teachers, some teacher also good, they love to hear students, I think it happens in every college.
