Review of NSIT College

Our college is one of the most reputed college in Delhi having great scope for development and it can still become a better college by enabling the students to enhance their practical applications which will help them to succeed further in life.

The course curriculum is good as it contains a wide range of subjects. We can also take electives and inter-disciplinory courses according to our will. The exam structure is also good as there is only one exam per semester along with the internal exams, not putting much pressure on students.

The placement and job opportunities of our college are really good. Also, the college provides great internships in the third year. As I will currently go to second year, so I have no experience of internship but our seniors have told us that the stipend is good.

There are several events in or college like Moksha, several MUN's, Photwalks, etc. All the events are really exciting, thus giving the students a chance to relax and enjoy themselves from continuous studies which leads to wholistic growth.

The fee structure is feasible as it varies from ?1.5 lakh to 2 lakh per year as the years of B.E. progress. There is certain relaxation for the reserved categories and physically disabled and/or there is a provision of partial fee waiver.

I know about the scholarship that NSIT gives scholarship to top 5% students in every branch on the basis marks in academics and there are certain loan facilities for the students of reserved categories which can also be availed from the SBI Bank within the college campus.

There are several extracurricular activities in which students can take part like various competitions organized within the college. The labs are in good condition, having the required apparatus to carry out the lab activities.

The alumini network is good and helpful as several alumini come to our college to address the current studying students about the practical experience and skills required in the industrial sector for the fields taken by the students.

Firstly, I gave the JEE MAINS exam and qualified it with good marks. Then a form of JAC Delhi was to be filled to be eligible for JAC Counselling. Then, I attended JAC Counselling and was assigned the college and branch.

The faculty of our college is good, helping us to study and understand more about their respective fields and subjects, also giving us practical experience and informing us about the practical applications of the subjects in our field and in the market in the present day scenario.
