Liberty of knowing my college

This college has a very good environment for study. All faculty members are keen help students. College stuffs and administration are transparent in theri work and interact with students to solve their problems. About a small negative remark is quality of practical instruments. Some of the instrument are old and back dated. Few depertments suffers from insufficient faculties.

My B.Tech Electrical Engineering course is of 4year with total 8 semesters, each semester with a 6 months of gap. Course curriculums are widely covers the basic electrical machines and theirs structures and working, power generation, power electronics all these modules are with theory and practical. I believe the course structure satisfies all the GATE syllabus. And their is some extra curricular points on your projects and semester gap trainings.

First I will write about internship. This college gives internship opportunity to every student in their 3rd year. This helps the students to know about the work environment. I have done my internship from Reliance retail Ltd as an Facility Management for 3 months with a 3000 stipend each month. There are many companies conduct interviews for internship. One of the big name is Intel. Now about placement, In my passing out batch(2019) 70%of students are placed so far. TCS the the mass recruiting company here. Many other companies like CTS, Infosys, Mindtree, Hind Rectifier, MGH companies recruit from this college. This college also has a great placement record from the past batches. Job opportunities are good in this college.

I attended very less events in my college time as my home os far from the college. But there are many cultural events organised by students and college. There are also a tech fest happens in each semesters.

As compared to other private engineering colleges the fees structure is good and affordable. Our semester fee was 39k - 41k in each semester. But there are some hidden cost in admission fees at the first time.

Scholarships are availed under the university schemes. There are many scholarship program which our college supports. Many students are under TFW scheme. For regular students loan facilities are there but its not for every students. College administration has rules and instructions about the scholarship, which they make clear for every students. Our admin cell is very interactive, they give answers to every quarries.

Tree plantation, green tribunal, cultural programmes are the extracurricular activities that we participate besides study. My college also encourage students to participate on sport. College have there football and cricket ground. In indoor games we have table tennis, carrom board. College organise intra college matches for football and cricket. Last year they were the runner-up team in football intra college tournament.

College have a facebook page, where they update about the alumni and students actively interact with them. Senior students also help junior students in their fest organisation, projects problems and also helps to find the mentors from the faculty members.

I took my WBJEE in 2015 and ranked 15457. After the 3rd round of university council I got NSEC college for EE stream. The counciling process is all online. After the seat allotment I had to go to college and take administration with the alloted seat.

In two words Supportive and Caring. All the faculty members in my college are very supportive to students in their academics and help in every way to give you the best knowledge in that subjects. They also care for your practical knowledge to withstand every experiment. Although the college is little short on faculty member but EE CSE ECE depertments have sufficient faculty members for theories as well as practical. Faculty members also help the students for their career choices. Most of them are worked in big companies, so the advice us about the requirements and how to apply for the same.
