Institute that sculptures good engineers

Firstly the college is going to be autonomous. The college has a good ranking in all over India and offers good knowledge. Most importantly students being and army wards maintain descipline and decoram. The college specially focuses on entire development of a student.The college still needs to work on opening new branches like civil engineering,Instumentation etc. Also more hardware based companies for electronics field students.

The institute offers Bachelor of Engineering(BE) degree in four discipline which are computer science(CS), Information technology(IT), Electronics and Telecommunication(ECE) and Mechanical engineering(ME) and masters degree in Mechanical engineering.There are total 8 semesters for four year undergraduate course. Each year consist of two semesters and in each semester exams are conducted for five subjects. Also in each semester exams are conducted in two phases that is one internal/insem and main theory exams . Upto second year the the internal consist of online based exam consisting of 25 marks in each subject while in remaining two years internal is based on subjectve type exam consisting of 30 marks. The main theory exams are of 70 marks. Also from second year onwards practicals consisting of orals and experiments are taken by internals as well as externals.

The placements and jobs offered are very good especially for computer and information technology students. The highest salary gone till now is 39lpa while the average is around 5.5lpa. Since the place where the institute is present that is Pune is an IT hub there is more culture of software than hardware. Hance the placements and jobs also consist of consultancy. In consultancy jobs as well the big four companies hire the students. The college does provide internship. It is provided by 3D PLM of Dessault to all students irrespective of their branch. Since the lab is built recently it currently offers hands on internship and no stipend is offered but certification of experience is provided. The lab is currently working on providing stipend to students. My overall experience was good.The internship provided helps in industry and also for placements and jobs.

The fee structure is feasible. Only the tuition fees are high remaining all are justified. The fee structure consist of tuition fee, mess charges, hostel charges, development fees, laundry, saloon, educational tours, value added courses etc.

The college offers very good scholarship to all students wo have performed well in their academics. There is a scholarship of 1.5 lakh offered by ZS in each year to scholar students by the procedure of interview and academic performance. A merit cum scholarship of 5k and 10k is offered based on merit list. Other scholarship like TATA merit of 15k is provided to the students who has topped in their respective branch. There is also scholarsip provided only for girls worth lakhs.

The extracurricular activities are organised under intra branch competitions which help individual to grow well. The labs are well equipped with all the facilities available. Also there are number of labs which are sponsered by companies like ROBU, NVIDIA, 3D PLM etc. The sports ground are enormous and there is court for each sports like squash, badminton, lawn tennis, volleyball etc. Each court is nicely furnished and will never disappoint at all.

I have opted for hostel and consist of three types of room that is for singlet, doublet and triplet. The infrastructure is quite good and proper maintenance and all facilities are provided without any fail.

The alumni network is very vast and vivid. Till now all the alumnus are in contact with faculties as well as students. An alumni meet is organized each year where not only alumni meet each other but also interact with students. They are very helpful in providing internships, funds and jobs as well either through reference or through companies.

First I appeared for JEE mains exam. After the rank and marks are obtained apply for admission on the website of aitpune.com. Fill all the necessary data required like 12th percentage, JEE mains marks and paid 500 rupees as fee for submission of form. Most importantly the student most be a ward of the army personnel(working or retired).A merit list will be generated after one 2-3 weeks based on which students are selected.

The faculties of each branch are highly experienced and most of them hold PhD degrees in their respective field. The faculties use digital method in order to impart knowledge to the students helping them to understand the concept clearly. They never hesitate to clear your doubts and very frank in nature. The more you impress faculty the more advantage you get in your future studies and exams.
