Likes

Faculty is very supportive and good teachers are familiar
There is no any issue of attendance in the college
As there is no issue of attendance in college so you can prepare any kind of exam.

Dislikes

College is too small and you will not like it's infra
Crowd is not supporting id you didn't have friends your college life will be disturbed
Some faculties is not good they cut your number intentionally like a teacher in computer science department who teach digital empowerment as vac subject don't opt it.

You all know bcom hnrs in du is most famous course so I opt it . Course is good as there are many societies in college which drive many programs which helps us and give insight of real world exam held in every 6 months .

Acharya Narendra Dev College comes under in delhi university it's fee range of one year is between 14000-15000. Yes there are many scholarship that available for students these scholarships are based on many requirements and which requirement shoots you can avail it . All category fees is same only pwd category is different

Campus Life

Yes recently college organised it's annual cultural fest leotheix which is okay okay . Library is good . Classroom are good and seats are good. Sports room is also okay okay there is a very small gym in sports room. Yes there are many societies of different departments.

Admission

As all want I also want to go in North campus but the first thing which affect it is my cuet english exam as there was many negligence in exam which led that there is no enough time I get to complete my English paper which led my low cuet score. Second is category if you want north or south campus college your marks along with category matter . Thus with my score I got this college.

Faculty

Faculty of commerce department in andc college is good surinder kaur mam Jitendra goel sir and many more are supportive and good . As college follow nep so there you have to opt sec vac courses so if you opt cources of other departments so there are few teachers who are not good they intentionally cut marks like in digital empowerment my marks was intentionally cut . By a teacher . College exams are moderate level of you do pyq you can easily qualify the exam . As passing percentage of college is 99%.

Night Life

College location is not good this college comes in off campus govindpuri which area is not good . College doesn't have any hostels. Not near but at some distance there are places to visit like lotus temple

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

College life in Acharya Narendra Dev College (ANDC), DU

This college was no.1 in my CUET preference list. I did few other courses for safer side but this course as well college was my top choice as it covers a lot of areas which are taught in MBBS and is quite interesting. Delhi University has 3 colleges for Biomedical Sciences, in which ANDC is the top college in terms of ranking that's why out of all three colleges this was my first choice. A few other options that I kept for me was microbiology, biochemistry in colleges such as Gargi and Deshbandhu. The college accepts your scores from CUET in subjects biology, chemistry and physics. The acceptance is done on the basis of your scores as well as your preference list. As this college was first on my preference list, I didn't get to face any rejection. The cutoffs for my admission year of 2024 was around 425+ for general category....Read More
