The overall architecture at VAST is different when compared to the other colleges. Try to keep it as same as possible.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course Curriculum and Exam Structure is totally different when compared to Calicut University. I took my degree under APJ Abdul Kalam Kerala Technical University. And mine was the first batch of KTU. There had issues during the starting semesters, and now it is achieving stability.
Placement Experience
The placement training is OK and the network that they have is very good but the matter is that the placement provided in my batch is about 230+ and almost half is to the sales department. They should map the student's career to the core departments.
College Events
About the events, the Vidya Academy of Science and Technology is letting the students improve and take a break from the curriculum by providing arts, technical festival, Onam celebration, Christmas celebration, Holi, sports, college day, ethnic day etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As I mentioned above my seat is enlisted under the Management Quota and I need to pay 1.15 lakhs approximately to the management per year. And after that, I had other expenses such as the Bus fee and all. The First-year fee was 1.25L and in that the caution deposit of 10000/- is included. And finally, I received an amount of 7500/- like a return from the caution deposit the balance is taken as the alumni fee and all.

I don't have any scholarship or education loan during my four years of journey in Vidya Academy of Science and Technology.
Campus Life
I enjoyed my four years of journey at Vidya Academy of Science and Technology by spending my time with friends, by organising events, by handling clubs, and I had a Start-Up during my studies and till now it is working good and we are undergoing research on a product.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network should be improved between the students and the management. There is no interaction between them.
Admission
I was selected into the college by looking into my plus two rank list and I attended the KEAM but not submitted my rank list of plus two so I doesn't receive a rank in KEAM. So I submitted my certificates and the scores of KEAM as the documents and I joined there as a Management Quota Student.
Faculty
The faculty of Vidya Academy of Science and Technology is almost OK in my case. Should improve the quality of teaching and the interaction of all staff with the students. The students and staff interaction are just for the sake of 4-years of education period for some cases only.
