Currently we have a new syllabus introduced to us called KTU,Kerala Technological University. It basically focuses on the overall development of a student. Evaluation occurs on daily basis so that a student can be thoroughly assessed

A few notable ones are Azure,Contour,and many technical based festivals which focuses in bringing out a students inventive ideas

The hostels are always get neat and tidy. The fees is just average to any other colleges nearby but the mess food is really good compared to any college nearby. We have rooms consisting of 3 to 6 people in a room with separate beds

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.
