HIT, Haldia Better then Government Colleges of West Bnegal

The course curriculum im the college is good you know the faculties teaches well labss and all were done in time there aree good well equipped Machinary in the labs and it's very helpful for our training. The examination are moderate not too much tough sometimes it becomes tough for uss but all over exams are good

The Internship opportunities are good which are provided by college it's very much interesting because our college arrange internships for some students in government companies like NTPC, HAL, and also Tata Steel nd all..its very good college they also provide Internships in Haldia Dock Complex for mechanical engineering students, IOCL Haldia Refinary for Chemical Engineering students actually the TPO of our college is excellent..

From 6th semester students aree eligible for campus placement.. many companies visit like Tata Steel, Mahindra, Adani, JSW, Supergas etc Core companies... Almost 90 percent of last year batch got placed.. average package is around 5.5 LPA increasing year by year. Highest package is 46 LPA in software companies. There is 29 LPA from Mechanical...40 LPA from electrical Depends upon you how you crack the placements..

Semester wise Basically The fee is 78000 to 81000 with the hostel. In the first semester they charges 1,10,000 with hostel and caution money etc.. but yes I can say the fee is fully Return Of Investment Concerned they provide excellent Placement in all the branches you know they are having so many branches that any college don't have in the entire West Bengal. Tution fee is near about 60000 to 65000 per semester In case of scholarships you know that government scholarship you can get but if you perform well in academicss they will provide scholarship internally also. I am too much satisfied with this college.

Annual Fest and Tech fests like Prayukti and Rivera are held every year there are Sports event held every year named ASM.. but yes departmental fests Saraswati puja independence day and many more are providing students a good environment. In Mechanical engineering Department We celebrate a Event named Mechanovate yealy..also our clubs organise many workshops we have clubs like Team Vidyut, Nivedita, Aeromech, Manab Racing..

Hostel Registration and allotment were done one day before the commencement of classes. In hostel They provide a Bed, mattress, a Table Chair almirah for students are not provided that is one cons for the hostel because the important things like electronics can't be kept outside everytime and in one room 4 students are there it's quiet conjusted but it's enjoyable you know it's good for me. The meal quality is decent not much but you know decent eatable just not upto the mark..menu is good veg non veg both are available..

I have got some government colleges but the placements were worse in those and this college has a huge number placements you know.. for addmission in this college 80 percent are from WBJEE 10 percent from JEE mains and 10 percent from management Quota. The addmission process is quite smooth just fill addmission form they will verify then pay the semester fee and your addmission is done ? verification step is most important there during addmission. The college asks for atleast 50 percent in 12th in PCM.

Faculties areee kind enough in the college every faculty not only our department faculty but other teachers also are helpful in guidance..the teacher student ration is 1:10. Faculties aree well educated most of them are PHD and with a huge experience Exams are semester wise and moderate although it's an autonomous college but it's papers are good enough

Nightlife as expected not much but We have a Haldia Riverside where we can chill with our mates or someone special very soothing place, then there is a huge city centre mall in haldia, nd many places like haldia dock complex, Iskon Haldia etc.. More outside our college spme stalls are there where we can chill with our mates... Also often the music clubs of our college Does Jamming in our basketball court so that's very engaging thing in our college..
