- Our college has two canteens and both of them maitain a perfect hygiene standards.
- Coimbatore off late has become little crowdy but our college is one of the most peaceful places in Coimbatore.
- Our curriculum is not just engineering based but business based as well.
Dislikes
- College operates from 9 am to 5 pm and thus hardly any time left for us to do anything.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our course is such that we obviously have engineering traits but along with that we also have business subjects as engineers are the ones who are doing maximum startups. Also the batch size is small and therefore each student get amazing attention making matters even more conducive for learning from DRNGPIT.
Placement Experience
ZoHo, Hexaeare, Mindtree, and Infosys ammog others are the ones that comes and take interviews. Also the mocks are mandatory now and therefore we are trained for that. Highest placement so far for AI department has been of 16 lakhs and average is around 7-8 lakhs.
Fees and Financial Aid
DRNGPIT fees is 1,20,000 a year. The tuition fees is 91000 and library fees is 3000 and then I card fees, examination fees and GST of 18%. Thus our semester fees becomes 120000 and annually it is 2,40,000. Hostel fees is 1.2 lakhs a year including the mess.
Campus Life
First and foremost campus is big but still the entire campus is Wi-Fi. Right next to the main building is the football ground which fortunately lacks enough grass though. However if by chance a injury happens, we have a clinic at our campus. Also there's an ATM and a parking space where nearly 30 college buses and around 800 other vehicles can be parked. Our annual cultural fest is Kanam and along with that we also have a few tech fests too.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are good only as they are air-conditioned and double sharing rooms are available. Double seater AC rooms for 1,20,000 and food inclusive. It can't get any better than this as to me this is a steal deal.
Admission
TNEA counselling is how students get admission as for each college they have separate criteria. For our college either JEE mains score or 12th score either of them is evaluated and since only 400 odd seats admission are given to top 400 students who apply here.
Faculty
Our faculties are class apart and kindly will have to mention atleast 3-4 names as there are many who deserves credit. Mrs Ramya and Mrs Rajyalaxmi are two faculties who definitely are among my favourite for the kind of teaching that they provide.
Night Life
Coimbatore is know for electrical components and Smart Bazaar where one can have some is close to our restaurant. For food CTK Restaurant is one of the best and then for movies we have multiple options like the Broadway Theatre and the IMAX.
