As a BSc CS(Hons) students , we have better labs unlike expected
canteen is also decent , not very overhyped but food the south indian anna makes
Knowledge and learnings that you got from here

Dislikes

Washroom are not good,there is not cleaning in the washroom

Course Curriculum Overview

to choose this subject it was my own personal choice, also, for infrastructure i decided this college cause the amount of works i scored it was my 8th choice and i have no regret for choosing this college

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 31650 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

One-time fee have to be given, which is overall 31500 something maybe for 1st year. for general, st/sc and obc students fees is particularly same, no categorizzed fees structure , to anyone

Campus Life

DU only have fests which are much popular than any functions go through in college, because in any du you got you are invited for every colleges fest comes under DU which is the great thing , one can enjoy i must say.

Admission

I only applied for DU(Delhi University) and opt for CS course, in which from my last i got selected in Acharya Narendra Dev College (ANDC), which was my 8th choice, apart from it no pvt colleges i didn't think about for this course.

Faculty

CS and Electronics Faculty as from my side experience are not that strict, the communication between us and the teacher(prof) is too understanding. not unlike having some type of teacher attitude.

Night Life

not only one can have library to study , but also if you want to do some project type thing with discussion you can also get a reading room in our ANDC college. also all colleges comes under DU have same tomings which is from 8:45AM to 5:00PM.

Placement Experience:

placements cells were little challenging . there were really less near to zero placement were there .so thats a problem you have to go for higher studies to get a good job and financial stability mostly students do this only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

Maitreyi college's BSc life sciences is a three year course and admits almost 130 students . The average package is INR3.40 LAKHS but is very difficult for the students to get placed under this course

Shivaji College Experience

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

Well you need to very lucky to have been a part of Sri Venkateswara college.Only think we missed back then was auditorium and hostels which am sure are there now.A very positive and caring vibe you got.Reddy Sir our principal in last few months invited me to share tirupati prasad he got that was the level and depth of community interaction and love.

Best college of DU for Mathematics

Remarks:

Canteen of the college is not much good. But it is good for a student. We can make our career in different field from this college. It has provided us playing material so student cam play there favourite game

College life in Acharya Narendra Dev College (ANDC), DU

This college was no.1 in my CUET preference list. I did few other courses for safer side but this course as well college was my top choice as it covers a lot of areas which are taught in MBBS and is quite interesting. Delhi University has 3 colleges for Biomedical Sciences, in which ANDC is the top college in terms of ranking that's why out of all three colleges this was my first choice. A few other options that I kept for me was microbiology, biochemistry in colleges such as Gargi and Deshbandhu. The college accepts your scores from CUET in subjects biology, chemistry and physics. The acceptance is done on the basis of your scores as well as your preference list. As this college was first on my preference list, I didn't get to face any rejection. The cutoffs for my admission year of 2024 was around 425+ for general category....Read More
