- NIT Agartala is among the top 15 NITs and it's because of strong academics and great placements record.
- One of the best looking campus as the campus itself is green and from naked eye as far as u can see, you will nothing but greenery.
- The college gets a good funding and our college spends it on developing research centers.
Dislikes
- Our campus is big and hostel blocks are quite far from the academic blocks.
Course Curriculum Overview
Well Production Engineering as my dad owns a small steel plant and to make production effective I am studying this as in later future I have to join him. We have labs where live practicals are given and algo to canva, we get everything covered in our course as most of our designing is done on CAD.
Placement Experience
From Gaya Steel, to JK Tyres and companies involved in production were the ones who gave us placements. On and average production engineers at our college were paid around 4-5 lakhs a year. The lowest of all but still in top corporate houses as no start-ups are into production. This established names where the one who gave us placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
NIT Agartala is the best NIT of Agartala and fees differes for different people. Like general category students of Tripura has to pay 60000 while for general category outsiders have to pay a fees of 80000 yearly. Also, reserved category and PWD students are given scholarship and has to pay just 10000 a year.
Campus Life
Aayam is our annual tech fest and our cultural fest is called Moksha. Moksha is one of the largest fests in North East as even though our college is located in an isolated area, many stars have shown there presence at our fests. Our campus is also one of the largest in North East as it is spread in over 350 acres and has endless open spaces to find peace at.
Hostel Facilities
There are four girls hostels and each with a different name. I stay at Gargi hostle which is a two seater rooms girls hostel. It is quite far from main gate and academics block as well. Our mess is amazing and since I love non veg food I am glad that our hostel serves us eggs daily.
Admission
I have AIEEE and NIT Trichy was my first choice for NITs and IIT Bombay was definitely a dream engineering college for anyone. I missed them both not by much but i missed them and in NITs i had few options but out of all, NIT Agartala was top ranked and hence I chose this.
Faculty
At NIY Agartala, faculties are esteemed and IITianas mas MITians even. Production engineering is not offered by many colleges and therefore top quality and especially the special faculties are in place to teach us Production Engineering.
Night Life
Our campus is amazing and we have nights spent at our campus. Nearby we do have few cafes and all but in time for girls is 7 pm and college ends at 5 pm so I am happy to spend maximum time at campus itself.
