Everything was good about our college including faculty, administrators and even the non teaching staff. It is situated in a beautiful place called Tehri Garhwal. And with beautiful views around the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course of syllabus was according to Uttarakhand technical university. Examination structure consists of two semester every year. Which includes 2 sessional examinations and one external examination.
Placement Experience
As being in the remote area of tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. It was very challenging to invite companies till that place. But college do provide internship in Thdc dam which is one of the biggest hydroelectric power plant.
College Events
There were number of events that we celebrated in our college during our graduation. We had annual fest, which use to continue for 3 days. Also volleyball, football, cricket was organised by the students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As being the semi government college, the fee structure of our college was quite feasible. The fees of each semester was mere 28000 per semester which included three thousand ‘ examination fees. That was all.
Fees and Financial Aid
There was no such facility offered by the college as being the government college. But loan facility can be availed by state bank of India or any other bank by doin their own formalities. That is the option.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities included different type of sports for which though ground was not provided but college faculty was quite supportive to give us the freedom to organise such events. We had football, basketball, and cricket every year.
Hostel Facilities
I haven’t opted for hostel facility. But hostel was also provided to the required student. And fees of hostel was also 25000 per semester. And infrastructure wise it was newly constructed and had all the basic facilities.
Alumni/Alumna
I was pioneering batch of my college which started in 2011. And there is no such network with my juniors. And we’re we helpful during the college days? So surely, yes we were at the time of our graduation.
Admission
I gave a entrance examination All India Engineering Entrance Examination in year 2011 and got admission in this college. The admission process is quite transparent. And there was reservation for the THDC ward and Old tehri citizens.
Faculty
Faculty of Thdc ihet is highly qualified. All of my teachers holds master degree in technical field or whichever they taught. Also most of them have done their education from renowned university of India
