If u got rank between 2000 to 4000 in JEE always opt for this college.overall it is decent college. And the success rate is pretty high. And u will learn so many things if u study here. There are also scopes for extracurricular activities which makes it different from other colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
Btech is bachelor of technology.I am a computer science engineer for all streams there are total 8 semesters and near about 40 semesters. You have to pass all of those from my opinion if you want be an engineer u have to follow this curriculum
Placement Experience
The placement scenario is quite decent. No college can promise 100% placements. This college have 65%placement this year. Others are opting for GATE or other sectors. If you study properly and have atleast 6.67 CGPA u will get a job.
College Events
There are many events always happening in the college. There is hostel named Rishi Bankim Chandra Hall they organize all these events. The annual cultural fest is Espektro. This is the biggest event in the town. Other events like Gurukshetra and alumni meets also occurs.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is pretty feasible. It is a govt college. I can go to the website and check them.A computer Science student requires just 6000 per semester.for mechanical and electrical it's just 3000 and for information technology its 12000.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes. There are scholarships as this is a govt college as much I know they off full feeship- that means no money at all and other scheme is half feeship that means u have to give half of the fees.
Campus Life
There is music club named Riyaz. there is a dance club named Elysium. There is a photography club named Shutterbug.and many more clubs like E-cell, robotics club, literacy club and many more. If you want to join they welcome you
Hostel Facilities
There are 3 boys hostels and one girls hostel. but if u wanna enjoy or learn something or wanna be something always opt for Rishi bankim Chandra Hall.it is the powerhouse of Kgec. They literally organize each and every thing for the college and all the students of this hostel are also good in their academics.
Alumni/Alumna
The Alumni are always Helpful. They have a Alumni club. The recent Alumni Secretary was Dibyajit Malakar. He managed it pretty well. They organize a football match. All over the students are alumni s are working on their network hopefully in few years that network will become more strong.
Admission
First after completing 12th u have to give Joint Entrance Examination. If you get a rank inside 3000 you will get entry to this college. There will 3 rounds of choosing your college. In 12th you should have atleast 60%.
Faculty
The faculty of Kalyani Govt Engineering College is pretty good. They all are from a good background. They all have a variety of knowledge. There are bear about 100 faculties.they try their best to teach the students
