Remarks
I would say it's a very good college for anyobe who wants to study in tripura or from NorthEast. The college holds good reputation and placement facility. I would recommend this college if someone is interested to take admission in ICFAI University Tripura.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was great. Teachers also helps us a lot. The course comes with internship. We get many knowledge from that and we can learn many new things. The exam structure is Semester wise exam that is 6 months period. 2 exams in one year.
Placement Experience
The placement opportunity is quite good. Even the past students are serving in different parts of India making ICFAI and the nation proud. Students are also working in Google, Microsoft and Apple Inc. and many more reputed Multi National Companies.
College Events
The events my college celebrate is called IKARIA. It is the cultural fest celebrated each year. Beside that, my college also offers educational trips and Internship during the study period. Students can learn and enjoy from different part of the state through this.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee stucture is very much feasible. Any one with a average income can afford this college. The fee for 1 semester is 50000 Rs. for B. Tech. However, if anyone scores above 80% in exams, he can get upto 70% cut off in fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarship available for students. Also if a student gets more than 80% in semester exams, he/she gets a cut in sester fees by upto 70%. The college also gives loan facalities to students who cannot afford to pay the fees by themselves.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities includes singing, dancing taking part in drama etc. Also there is a cultural fest organised each year, it's called IKARIA. The college includes lab facility for every department. Like Computer Lab, Mechanical Lab, Chemistry Lab etc. Sports are organised each year in the Annual Sports events. The college also has places for sports in which student can play sports daily.
Hostel Facilities
The Hostel infrastructure is very good and maintains quality. Hostel has drinking water and gym facility. It also offers bus facilities to students if they opt for. The hostel room contains 3 roommates and attached bathroom.
Alumni/Alumna
According to the alumni students, the college is a great place to study. They also recommend us what we should do in future to get better placements and set a better future. Students are also working in Google, Microsoft and Apple Inc. and many more reputed Multi National Companies. So they have experienced many more things and are helpful.
Admission
At first I had to take admission form filled up online with application charge of Rs. 500. Then I was asked to come for an interview and I appeared on that date. My documents were verified. I was given a admission letter. Later I need to pay the fees and that is it. I am now a student of The ICFAI University, Tripura.
Faculty
Faculty of my college is also very good. The teachers are very cooperative. According to my experience, its one of the best college in Tripura. The college campus also has free Wi-Fi connections. This college is what a student need in Tripura.
