Course Curriculum Overview

4

The courses are industry relevant.Including subjects like competitive coding in the semesters.I persnally chose AI and Data Science as to know more about it as its a booming field and has scope in future. Curriculum is relevant including internship credits in the semesters. I would say that for a CSE students the subjects like Workshop, and engineering graphics and engineering chemistry are not relevant its just for scoring good cgpa but no one is going to ask it in interview. Exam are not very difficult as papers are made according to general point of view of taking care of all types of student. .

Internships Opportunities

4

The compamies like Zs associates,Tcs ,wipro offer internships and stipend is not generally avialble to all students only few get paid. I am in first year not aware of projects.but the seniors are quiet supporting.

Placement Experience

4

Students generally get eligible to placement from 6th semester. Some top Companies for cse placemnt which comes are Zs associates,Morgan stanley, tcs, wipro and barclays. Highest package was around 54lpa Average is around 7 lpa There is around 80%median placements. Some students opt for masters abroad. My plan is though to prepare for placement currently but lets see what happens maybe opting for masters could be a plan B.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees for all branches of BTECH-CSE are 3.7lkhs for the admissions from 2025. Scholariships are merit based. 1.MIT-WPU Scholarship II (25%)(jee percentile 95&above and mhtcet percentile 96&above) 2.MIT-WPU Scholarship I (50%)(jee percentile 96 & above and mhtcet percentile 97 &above). 3.Dr. Vishwanath Karad Scholarship (100%)(jee percentile 97 &above and mht percentile 98 &above)

Campus Life

5

The colleges has lots of fests and events. There is a very popular fest called arrohan which is very famous. I could easily give 5stars for books facilites. The library has all kinds of books all the coureses and semester making it very useful.Students can borrow the book from library. The clasrooms has all facilites including chairs to tables.Every class having projectors and wifi facilites for students. Sports and extracurricular facilites are very great. All sports facilites are available.Seperate play area for indoor games including all the sports extracurricular activities are also there according to festival like during ganesh chathurthi there was idol making competiton. The colleges has a lot off clubs for racing clubs to coding clubs and even nature clubs made for nature lovers.

Admission

I applied to this college as well as in symbiosis institute of technology.I chose thi college as its is from a very long period and has a edge over symbiosis. Also SIT pune has no proper transport facilites diffcult to travel from home to college. No i didnt get any rejection letters. Admisions are through many ways. 1.Mit wpu cet 2.Admission on jee/cet basis Students generally come through jee/cet scores as most are waiting for cap rounds or josaa counseling. Cutoffs for cse Jee main generally 92 & above Mht cet generally 93 & above

Faculty

4

The faculty are supportive, they are always bothered if students get the topic or not. They are not like compliting the topic and leaving class. There is only one faculty in a class. Dr Vaishali Gaikwad is a great teacher. She is a phd in inorganic chemistry. She has 17+yrs of experience and is faslty able to relate with the students consequences and resolves the doubt immediatly. She teaches Engineering Chemistry. Dr Sumant Shinde teaches Engineering Mechanics. He though is a good physics teacher having 20+yrs of experience and knows physics well but his method of teaching doesnt make the class interactive and students often get bored. As this is a autonomous college. It decides its syllabus by its own. Also the exam papers are also set by the internal faculty members. So scoring is not too difficult.Student generally dont fail except some exceptions.Coures are industry relevant but some courses in first year like the workshop i dont feel is relevant.

Night Life

5

There is no such free facilites of gym in the campus.its is disappointing. The campus has a very big library for the students of all the coures in common. The offical hostels of mit-wpu are located far from colleges nearly 8 to 10km bit transport facilites for the students of the hostels to pickup and drop from hostel to college vice versa. There are a lot of PGs btw nearby the campus. The colleg has a lot of hangout places from cafes to game zones just out of the campus. Yes the locality is safe in the night as in the nearby area many residential housss are there and many students live in the area. But it isnt silence in the night.

Other Applied Colleges

Symbiosis Institute of Technology - [SIT] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
