Teachers: They are available at any time and they gave as the mandatory details
Students who came to study is worthy than who came to enjoy
Library: its a place of huge peace and the best of sjcet .structure of library is the best.

Dislikes

Events happening is less than nearby college .
Location of the college is not good because of transportation facility is poor
No food stall rather than college and stall is not big as other college

Course Curriculum Overview

KTU 2019 SYLLABUS IS NOT GOOD COMPARED TO KTU2019 NOW THE SYLLABUS IS MODIFIED TO KTU 2024 WHICH IS BETTER AND RELEVANT TOPICS. GARBAGE TOPICS ARE NOW THROWN TO BINS AND LATEST UPDATED TOPICS ARE IN THE SYLLABUS. UNFORTUNATELY I DONT KNOW FAR CAUSE IM 2019 SCHEME AND ITS THE WORST SCHEME EVER

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 45000 per year

Internships Opportunities

College wont provide specific, but guide you for the best i did in bsnl for my 2nd yr internship for one month.not stipend. Just training and could learn what is industrial life and so on. Maybe next year might be more exciting for internship

Placement Experience

Placement is there. Recently i got an advanced training by a leading automation japan company. So everything is there but our syllabus oriented class are not worth for a job. So getting placed number was less.

Fees and Financial Aid

We are requested to pay sem wise or year wise for odd sem its 50k near with tuition fee,caution,exam,and so on.then on even sem its about 40k near.There are lots of merits available like 12 marks,catholic students,backward class,4th child and so on. I was permitted as a normal student.My fees is the normal one.

Campus Life

My college has one art fest known sargam and tech fest known asthra . Asthra is national level. Both are happening for 2 days. Library has huge collections. SPORTS day is also happening every year and college day is also for students. Freshers day for freshers lots of club like ieee ,iedc etc

Admission

My options were SJCET and AJCE. Now both are autonomous, when i was there to join a student commit suicide and my friend was already a student who pursuing ece and said dont ever come to the hell. For SJCET silly fight issues were there but its a college not a church it can happen . But now sjcet is more strict than ajce. No suicides in sjcet. Ajce is 10/10 for looks and event. SJCET is something special than other college

Faculty

Im a ktu student, now our college is autonomous and its far more better than my first year era. People now started to enjoy the college. ECE dept is more strict and hard than other dept in the college therefore faculties are not easy to handle but if you are good to them ,they are always helpful. EXAMS ARE NOT SIMPLE BUT IT WILL DEFINITELY HELP TO CRACK SEM EXAM. TWO INTERNAL EXAM .

Night Life

Im not a hosteler so i dont know about nightlife.hostel time is 6pm. And most of our events end by 4 pm and some club events happen for night and college provide special events like dj and night functons. Safe to roam inside college not outside its not a city.

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

SJCET IDEA

I had applied to various coleges. That includes amal jyothi college of engineering and technology and also registered for for rajagiri school of engineering and technology. Both these colleges were wonderful and provided necessary insights on what i could achieve if i had taken admission from these colleges. The admission process was very good and fast.
